    The day after...

I just wanted to let everyone know i did go the the emergency and was there for about an hour, they didnt do much i guess there is not much they can do. i started passing some blood clots when i was there i showed them and they said pretty much i am having a m/c. i have to go in today for a blood test to see were my levels are at. going in for an ultrasound on thursday. because i have passed so much blood does that mean i wont have to have a dnc done, the previous 2 m/c my angels heart beat stopped.
i just wanted to thank everyone for replying so fast to my post, it truely helped and im glad i went to the ed and got checked over.
thanks again everyone better luck next time xxoo

    I am so sorry

They will have a look at the ultrasound to see if you have any "retained products" - charming really - meaning they make sure all the tissue and lining has come away cleanly - any left behind can go septic if not removed and make you very sick.

Be prepared for them to talk about your baby as the "products of conception" and words like removal and horrible medical terms. If there is retained product, you will be send for a D&C to remove them.

Good luck, I hope you get your sticky bubba soon xo

Ah I'm sorry hun REALLY crappy

I've just recently had my 3rd, and I've never had a D&C, it's the one thing my body seems to do well. Whatever happens in the next few days and weeks, whether you need the procedure or not - just try to take some time out for you and just grieve. I imagine it must all feel very clinical and 'dealt with' for women who need a D&C, and they don't just get a chance to sit back and reflect on what's happened.

We're all here for darl, if you want to de-brief, ask questions or just vent

Wow really? It *could* be possible that you miscarried a twin - had you had an ultrasound already this pregnancy?

I never had my (rather knew) my HCG levels with my miscarriage so can't help you there I am sorry. As for the blood and clots, yes, lots of blood lots of clots, lots of contractions.

Good luck at the doctor and with the ultrasound

Good luck with the u/s. I cant help with the HCG levels or the bleeding etc as I didnt get my HCG levels checked with bub #1 & I never had any blood loss, was just told at the u/s bubs heart beat was slow (half an hour later it stopped) so I was booked in for a D&C that night.
Just wanted to give you some hugs

Guess what we saw a heart beat and little bub is going okay at the moment... i was in complete shock when he told us. the bleeding and clotting is still happening but not as bad, he said i have another pretty big clot to pass so thats a little bit scary he has put me on progesterone and antibiotic called erythromycin there are hopefully going to help. he said its still touch and go but i guess at least is a much better outcome than i thought. so very excited and nervous....
thanks everyone for the support, xxoo
