Hi dory! You're right! I kind of 'forgot' about this thread cause it wasn't popping up on my 'participated topics' section cause nobody has participated, lol.
Update: I'll be 38 weeks on Wed! Eeee! Nearly there! Bub has been head down for weeks but not engaged yet, though I think it's trying to as of 2am this morning, lol. I'm nearly ready, just got lots of last minute bits and bobs to organize, but in terms of being physically ready... Oh yes! Bring it on! I can't wait to sleep on my back again and not be boiling hot and sweaty every minute of the day. It's gradually going up to 40 here by Saturday... Each day will be worse and worse. I'm just praying the 80% humidity disappears! I have a/c but only in the lounge and bedroom and there's still so much to do, but all in the hot rooms! A bit frustrating! Still, I'm sure it'll all work out :)

Hi everyone..I'm new to this site and I thought if share my story.
I have 2 children already and back in July I unexpectedly got pregnant again. I was very nervous because I knew we weren't financially ready for a third child but I wanted one so bad and my husband said he would work 3 jobs if he had to. Well..in September I went in for my first ultrasound and found out that I had a "missed miscarriage." For those who don't know what that is its when the tissue/egg is still inside but it had stopped growing. So I was technically 9 weeks pregnant but the pregnancy had stopped progressing at 5 weeks. My doctor advised me to let my body miscarriage naturally rather than do the dnc or take medication. Well..long story short..after 4 straight months of heavy bleeding, 2 emergency room visits and a lot of pain I finally fully miscarried. Horrible experience to say the least. Now that I've been back to normal for about a month my husband and I are both anxious to start trying again but I'm still worried about our finances and everything else. I know I should wait but I'm going crazy!

Hi LvS19 *waves* sorry you ended up in here, but welcome. I'm so sorry to hear of your MM. That's how I ended up in here too. My first pregnancy was a MM also at my 12 week scan, so I know how horrible it can be :( I actually opted for the medication misoprostol and had the most awful horrible pain I've ever felt in my life! My Mum said she thought it was worse than labour, judging from my symptoms and reaction. I'd never use misoprostol again! It doesn't sound like waiting for it to occur naturally was any more pleasant for you either :( just a nasty business altogether!
I don't blame you for not wanting to wait! After a week or so, I felt the same and wanted to get straight back into TTC. Good luck with it! I hope it happens soon and you have a healthy sticky bub and your finances sort out :)

Hi and thank you. The final stage of my miscarriage was definitely worse than either of my labors! My husband and I talked for a long time last night and unfortunately its just not possible for us to have another kid right now. I think we are going to come up with a plan and hopefully we can get pregnant within a year or so.

Clairesmummy i've been thinking about you and hoped that all was going well even though you hadn't posted for a while. So glad you are still ticking along (though with GD it sounds like?). How many weeks now?

Hey Possum yes I have the fabulous GD yet again was diagnosed with it at 14 weeks, I am on insulin 4 times a day now, not fun at all. I am now 33 weeks and looking like I will be induced at 38 weeks going by my OB. How's things going for you darl?
-
Hi Ladies
Thanks Clairesmummy and Possum magic.
Clairesmummy ~ glad to see all is well and not long to go now then :)
AFM ~ had a scare today and of all days on our 5 yr anniversary :( had to rush to hospital as I started bleeding. Had an ultrasound and bubs is all good, everything fine phewww. Looks like because my placenta is low and now bubz head is right on it - its bled a little. They told me I could go back to work so I guess that means I could be fairly confident, although I am still a little worried. Ive had a tiny bit of tummy ache but perhaps thats to be expected with the blood. Hasn't been anything too significant.
Its pretty quiet in here but I really hope thats because everyone is well and enjoying pregnancy - :bellyrubs::stickyvibesboy::stickyvibesgirl:

Eek Loops! Sorry to hear that. Hopefully it stays okay and no more bleeding! Xxx
Nothing from me here cause I'm 41 + 2 and going crazy! I'm supposed to be being induced tonight but when I called at 2pm, like they asked, they were flat out and said call back at 5pm. My Belly Buddy at the same hospital who is exactly 41 weeks today is in the same boat. We're going crazy together! Lol

Just have to quickly jump in here for a few seconds sorry to gate crash..... Some of you have known me through a lot of highs and a lot lows but this news I have to say to you all... We are officially TTC i'm just so thrilled that we have taken this next step and have tried to honour our son with the time we have grieved, I know there is no right or wrong time frame to grieve but I just had to tell some one as we aren't telling anyone IRL not until we have a definite baby in this oven.... So happy right now
-
So glad to hear HPL! I hope this TTC is short and sweet for you and you have a nice sticky bub. Grief is very personal, so I'm sure the time you left for it was right for you xxx
I am in! I've had the gel put in, so just waiting now! Hope this bub decides to come quickly, lol :)

I've had a balloon catheter put in last night after 2 failed gels. It gave me quite strong frequent contractions, so they gave me Panadeine Forte and a sleeping tablet so I could sleep. The PF wasn't quite strong enough so I had a morphine injection and that took the edge and frequency off so I could sleep, which I've been doing on and off all night quite nicely. Just doing that until they check me again, not sure what happens from there.
