Thanks everyone for your well wishes. My life has got very busy all of a sudden but am loving every moment, and feeling so blessed and incredibly lucky - and more relaxed now she is here.

Erybery: Hope you and Ella are both doing well and you are getting some sleep

LizJessie: you must be very close now - how are you feeling? Wishing you all the best

WTH: You must also be just so close too - cannot wait to read your birth announcement

zstar: hope you are enjoying your retreat on KI - I am a yoga teacher - so would love to hear more about it when you return.

Megsmum: THanks for the well wishes and yes I am feeling incredibly happy. A bit on tired side and just trying to figure everything out about looking after a newborn, but enjoying the challenge and in love with my bubba. How is Emma doing, and how is big sister enjoying the little one? My poor poodles are a bit lost now that their mumma is not devoting so much time to them

AFM: all going well- still on huge learning curve - had only changed one nappy in my life before Molly came along and haven't had a lot to do with newborns. Trying to follow my instinct and enjoying the process. I also wanted to tell you that my beautiful husband bought me a lovely present for having Molly - it is like a pandora bracelet only a different brand but all of the charms he picked out have a special meaning - ying/yang for the two of us, pram for Molly, pig (as I was born year of pig), pink jewel charm (for molly), house (as we are doing house renovations this year) and a panda (as pandas are coming to adelaide very soon)!!! How thoughtful don't you think.

Anyway - hoping everyone is going well.

to Mollycat, Josh's mum, greenslw, hannah D (my fellow adelaidian - your ticker is moving along nicely my dear), smallfryplus (yay for pink), meredith ( hope you are enjoying your bundle), starangelk (welcome); , mrs hendo,

babymiracles - I'm feeling like I just want the lil man to be here now! It's not because I'm over the pregnancy, have enjoyed it actually - it's the constant heartburn and stomach pains that have been driving me INSANE! And I'm also so very excited to see what the lil man looks like

    Hi everyone

I've been hiding for a few days and logged on to see all these wonderful baby announcements. While I don't know you, your stories are inspiring to me - Congratulations!!!!

Babymiracles - what kind of yoga do you teach? I have been thinking I would like to go to yoga again but I am not sure if it is a good idea in early pregnancy since I have had some bleeding?

Greenslw - Thanks for the info, so exciting you saw the heartbeat at 8 weeks. The Dr asked me to book my US earlier than that just to check on everything and I think she is worried about dates as I didn't have a regular cycle after my mc. I ended up booking my US for next Tuesday which by my calcs will be around 7 weeks.

Mrs Hendo - are you around lovely?

A big hi to everyone else - hope to get to know you all better soon.

Lizjesse - HOW ARE YOU GOING?? Not long to go 'til you meet your little man Hope the heartburn eases - can't remember if I suggested Rennie to you? It has really helped me the past few weeks.

Starangelk - Your were asking about scans before? I have had quite a few - my early ones at just past 5 weeks would pick up things like the yolk and gestational sack. I have had a heartbeat not long after six weeks. My understanding is many Obs use 7 weeks as a rule of thumb as they are very likely to see a HB at that time, allowing for the fact that some women ovulate/implant late and it can avoid unnecessary worry. GL for Tuesday and I hope the headaches have eased up for you.

Babymiracles - how wonderful to read your post. You sound like you are sitting right on cloud nine The bracelet was such a lovely and throughtful gift - what a special man you have! Cyber cuddles for Molly oo

Easha, Karen Van and Erybery - hope you are both continuing to enjoy your babymoons. I love reading about your new bub adventures. The early days of my time with DD feel like a foggy distant memory...

zstar - I'm rather envious of your Kangaroo Island Retreat - it sounds AWESOME. Can't wait to read about it. I have been there, too. Such a beautiful and fascinating place.

Smallfryplus - congratulations on passing the halfway mark!

Mollycat - ooooooooohh it is sooooo good when you drop in. Keep up the GREAT work mama xx

Megsmum - hiya, cyber sista. Will write soon x

Mrs Hendo - Has your MS eased? All a good sign for you, of course. I have been keeping an eye on your (very cute) ticker - every day is a step in the right direction.

A big to Joshsmum, Lee, Pash, HannahD, Greenslw, TinaR and anyone I might have missed.

AFM - still tootling along. My CS is booked for Tuesday - the recovery will be much better if I make it to the elective CS (if I go into labour before then my Ob will perform an emergency CS - much less fun) so I am really keeping my legs tightly crossed until then! It feels like an absolute miracle I have made it this far, considering how my Ob freaked me out a month or so back saying bubs had dropped and things were about to happen... I have been taking things pretty easy, so maybe that is why bubs has not made an early appearance. Meanwhile, I continue to have some days with strong pre-labour symptoms and others with less. Felt a bit more energetic yesterday than I have in a while. The same thing happened two days before having DD. Anyway, at most five sleeps to go

Just a quick one as Molly is sleeping and using this short time to catch up on a million and one jobs - including checking the internet (and belly belly - one of the more pleasant tasks)

LizJessis - your beautiful boy will be here before you know it - although I found the last week or two to go incredibly slowly especially is you are not feeling well. I felt really nauseous in mornings for last week or two - all gone now now. Hand in there and wishing you all the best

WTH: Wow you are soo close. Hope you can keep those legs crossed till tuesday. Wishing you a smooth sailing CS - cannot wait to hear your birth announcement

Chappas - Molly failed one of the hearing tests too - so reasurring to hear about Daniel. I have to wait about 3-4 weeks for CAFS appt to find out if Molly's is okay - although I suspect she can hear just fine - as responds when talking in the ear that failed. FIngers crossed

Starangelk: I teach a very dynamic form of yoga - actually two varieties - ashtanga and power vinyasa - would not recommed taking them up in pregnancy as too vigorous and I actually stopped practicing from 1st trimester cos of early bleeding and not wanting to take any chances. Best to find a pregnancy yoga class - most advise starting after first trimester but check with the teacher. I did a pregnancy class in second and third trimester which was really nice and nurturing (and not strenous like the yoga I teach)

OK enough - gotta run. to everyone - me still on cloud nine big time (except when trying to wake up for night feeds!)

    Hi!

I am really hoping I am not premature posting here. I told myself I was going to wait till after my bt results this afternoon, but here I am!

I had an early mc a couple of months ago (5w3d), and a shock-bfp on Tuesday at 13dpo - had a gloriously happy day. Then on Wednesday I had quite a bit of light bleeding. My hcg from Wed is good and the bleeding has stopped, so I am cautiously hopeful. I have to go to the drs now for the repeat bloodtest.

That's where I am today in a nutshell, looking forward to reading this thread and getting to know you (and of course hoping to stick around!)

Sorry all! I've been so busy getting this house organised that I keep forgetting bout checking stuff on the net!

starangelk - How you feeling? Hope everything is going well for you.

WTH - I'm not going too badly - I'm eager for this lil one to be here already, but I'm happy for him to stay for as long as possible iykwim. I like the idea of Rennie - I think I'll buy some today when we do the shopping. I bet you can't wait to meet your lil one! I hope s/he waits until the scheduled date though, don't want you having an emergency C/S!

chappas - So do I.. I'm really eager to see him and just to hold him and hug him

BM - Thanks hun.. How's your lil princess doing? I'm hanging in, very very loosely though

smamfa - Good luck I hope those levels are rising nicely.

to everyone else - AFM : I woke up this morning with the worlds worst feeling in my throat, like it's burning, but no sneezing, no coughing... nothing else! I'm trying figure out if the man upstairs is telling me that I've been naughty and not been taking it easy and giving me this sore throat to try and get me to rest
Tomorrow will be my LMP due date, then next Friday will be my 1st u/s due date, then the following Monday will be my actual due date (the one they decided to keep as the due date) - so they're the three days I'm keeping open to not do ANYTHING! DH has a bet with someone that he'll be here today - well, not really any signs of it at all, so I think DH can safely put his $20 in his wallet (though DH has said 'It is still only early')

Thanks smallfryplus and lizjessie! Oh my gosh, I am so NERVOUS! I was full of adrenalin driving to the pathology place, and now I am kind of drifting around, good for nothing today... she said the results would be back probably late this afternoon, if I don't expire from nerves before then!!

    Hi all

Smamfa - glad you are in here now my lovely friend. I am DYING to know how your results are, been checking BB all afternoon while talking to clients on the phone!! Hopefully I haven't muttered any TTC advice while trying to give them financial advice at the same time - hahaha.

Lizjessie - wow, next time you post you could be posting baby news!! Hope your throat feels better.....

Babymiracles - thanks for the yoga advice. I do really want to do it but I'll wait until the second trimester like you have suggested.

Chappas - Hiya Great news that your little one passed his hearing test

Wherethereshope - Tuesday is soon!!! for you that you make it to your elective CS. Looking forward to hearing your exciting news.

A big hello to anyone I have missed.

AFM - I am pleased to report that I think the bleeding has stopped. None today at all - woot woot! I have also started feeling nauseous on and off during the day, nothing too bad though. My scan is on Tuesday - 4 more sleeps to go. for a heartbeat or heartbeat to be seen, anything but an empty sac.

Wow WTH & LJ, you are both so close to meeting your bubbas - how exciting!

And big congrats to those who have had their gorgeous additions

starangelk - well, fancy meeting you here

For me, the news is good so far - my levels have come back more than doubling, and there is no sign of the bleeding anymore, so I am stoked. Now it can start to sink in... I am really pregnant...

woohoo smamfa! That's great news!!! Keep it up and give that little bubby a comfy home to spend the next 8 months or so!!

starangelk, did I miss you joining us here? Or is it just pregnant brain :P most likely that! At any rate, congratulations and I'm really pleased to hear the bleeding has stopped, that's very good news.

so more babies just days away huh? I've had one friend give birth (via CS) today to a 10lb, 55cm long baby boy. HUGE! And she's not that big herself so not sure how she fitted him in there. It has totally freaked me out. Hope you lovely ladies aren't planning babies quite that size and that you have wonderful births when it's time!

    Happy weekend to all!

My weekend finally starts today thank goodness I'm so tired. Went to look at a new car today too. I'm thinking a Subaru Forester, but still want to look at the commodore wagon, Nice to shop when work is paying

Hey Greenslw, check out a ford territory if it's an option. I got one a year ago and of all the cars I've had (including a 2005 commodore wagon) it's my absolute favourite. And here I was always completely against owning a ford!! But then DH was always a ford man and he now owns a holden!! hehehe Good find with those bargains I've found ebay is great for getting good stuff cheap - picked up a pram worth around 700+ new for only $84 gotta luv it
