Angelfish blessings to you, its so hard doing these things by ourseleves, in saying that my husband came with me lasttime having missed the previous two scans that both turned out to be miscarriages...very sad...anyway he comes to this one and it was all good and bubs was doing really well but I have to admit it was more stressful having him there lol...they cany win poor things. As for his chn, lay down your rules when tey get there in a loving way and express that each day there is quiet time between this time and this...they could be rewarded for respecting this.

well i went in for my u/s today and the hb is at 169 bpm and i got my frist copy of the lil peanut. They are telling me that i am 7 weeks and 5 days which matches up what the u/s tech told me at the hosptial a couple of weeks ago. But the dr said that the report read that i am due that the end of jan which does not match anything even with my last af so i am still happy and hopeful.

AFM - I am so sick of feeling sick. I didn't think too much of it at first when it started as I don't feel ill enough to vomit but after three weeks of constantly feeling as though I had just finished a 6 course meal I am hoping to start feeling better soon. I had planned to walk every day and really make an effort to feel fit but I honestly just feel yuk 90% of the time so I lie around the house. Don't get me wrong, I am grateful to have it as a good sign baby is still hanging in there, but it would be nice to put some of my more healthy pregnancy ideas into action.

Sammy P I feel the same, rotten nearly all day. I have had two successful pregnancies before though so I wanted to ofeer some reassurance. Soon it will pass and you will be feeling fabulous and all your healthy pg ideas will be put into action...you will feel great again and at the same time you will start to show and then you will feel even better :)

So sorry that you are feeling sick, if it helps i felt the same and at least the fatigue eased off right on the 12week mark! I still have a bit of MS ! Hope you feel better soon!

AFM: trying to be sensitive to those of you that arent feeling ok but i had my scan today and all was great with bubs. Measuring 12w3days. It was moving around and all looked great! Thank you for all your support. I know that i will still need it along the way but its so nice to know that i have you girls that understand!

SammyP - i know exactly what you are going through. I am about 6 weeks at the moment and am constantly feeling sick but also not quite enough to vomit. I am so exhausted all the time and crash out on the lounge around 6.30 every night, but i can also offer some reassurance too that with my first pregnancy i was sick until around 16 weeks but pretty much over night it disappeared and i started to feel bub move and it was just amazing:D So hang in there it will get better.

Teagam - great news about your little bub its always great to reach that first big milestone.

I went and got the results of my ultrasound at the beginning of the week and my dr said there is nothing to worry about with bub being a bit smaller than what i thought. She said as you can fall at pretty much anytime during your cycle your dates can be out by a couple of weeks. So now i have to wait another 2 weeks before i go back again for another scan. I hate all this waiting i just wish i could now that bub was growing and everything will be ok.

Selfish post today ladies sorry...

FIrst visit to the hospital late last night... :-( started having contractions, if you look at my ticker this baby is a LONG way off coming out yet. Little scary have to say, contractions stopped by themselves thank goodness, but still, they were coming hard and strong. Doc said its time to slow down and ease up on work.. Yeah sure I can do that, anyone know of a money tree I can plant in my backyard lol....

Need to stop stressing about things and start enjoying this pregnancy because if last night is any indication, if I don't stop stressing this little girl will be here sooner than expected....

Huge hugs hope.positive.love! also sounds like if you dont start enjoying this pregnancy you wont be pregnant anymore! Your little one needs more cooking time so please cut back on all that you can if you need to keep working!

HPL thats not whinging, so pleased that the contractions stopped. Hope they dont start again for a long time yet. PIG! Post it girl! Normally you have each others mobile numbers and when you have bubs you sms them and they come on here to BB and announce that you have had XYZ... (baby, birth, name detail) Just means that you dont fall off the face of the earth in that babymoon period and no one knows how you are!

HPL – take up the rest option girl..... it's well worth it. I love it, just wish I could do a bit more. But once I became pregnant, it wasn't just about me anymore. Glad your contractions stopped by themselves – that is a very good sign. Rest up and try not to worry. You'll find ways to work around the reduction in $ and the lack of a $ tree.

Millyd – I have always wondered that myself but never followed it up! Good to see you're at 8 weeks now.

Hoping – you're right – it's such misery in the early days.... the m/s doesn't help and neither does the exhaustion but as you said it does get better, esp when you can start to feel bubs move regularly. Hope that you can withstand the next 2 weeks ok til your next scan.

Sammy P – keep strong girl, you will feel better soon enough.

Angelfish – awesome news. Good to know bubs is keeping safe and snuggley. You must be feeling so much better.... hold on to that feeling.

Hmm, sorry about your partners lack of understanding. Tell him it like having gastro. Or better still next time he gets the man flu, refuse to assist him and expect him to do as he expects you to do now. It's nice to dream.. I am not sure I could ever put it into practice. But sweetie – put yourself and your baby first which you seem to be doing. Blimey, the man needs to get some boundaries on those kids. It is just not on to be jumping on you like that.

Milly 5 – I so understand some of your comments. It's just the madness of pregnancy after such a hard journey. I am so excited for you – 30 weeks is just such a milestone. But look out I am not too far behind you..... oh my hair – no do, just a colour and foils. A bit of a red hue which I don't like but it will be ok. Better than the greys.....

AFM – all well here. See the Obs this Friday. I get so excited about my appointments – one because I get to go out and because I get some reassurance about how bubs is growing but also because of the simple fact that I am seeing my Ob's in his rooms and not him coming to see me in hossy. I will be happy for him to do that, but not for another 10 weeks.....

I love the fact I can feel bubs move at regular times. DH was trying to hear the heartbeat by putting his ear on my tum and baby booted him in the ear. LOL. Baby also seems to kick now in response to pussy cats purring or snuggling up close. It does make this journey so much easier. There is still fear and trepidation, but it's less intense.

LOL – as I type one of the fur babies is trying to burrow under the blanket on the end of the bed. Poor blossom must be cold or just up to mischief.

HPL: Oof darling, that sounds a bit scary! So glad the contractions stopped, look after yourself hon, you've done a brilliant job with bubba so far.

SammyP: LMAO! Your post sounded soooo much like me, from 5 - 6 1/2 weeks I was being sooooo good, made a big batch of veggie soup so I knew I'd have at least a few serves of vegies a day, did my pregolates DVD every morning, was determined to not gain weight the first trimester. Then I lost tiger's twin, got MS and proceeded to take up residence on the couch while shouting at DH to bring me a bucket and peanut butter sandwiches (on white bread, thank you very much!). Luckily, I'm feeling a lot better now, MS is starting to leave the building, I'm happy eating food other than peanut butter sandwiches, if I have one now I have it on my usual grainy bread, which I found repulsive a few weeks ago. AND I've even gone for a bit of a walk the past few days! Granted, I fell asleep on the floor when I got home, but I still walked. And DH has stopped reminding me that the most likely time for women to be killed by their husbands is during pregnancy (true, by the way). I don't really care if I gain weight now or not, if I do, it will be on a high quality diet (from now on anyway!) and I can work to get it off, I just want Tiger to be healthy.

Tegam: Yay for good scans!

Hoping: Yeah it's really hard to know exactly when you've ovulated, or when eggie gets fertilised, or when they implant, AND early ultrasounds are about + or - 5 days. So yeah, my advice is to take early scans with a grain of salt.

AFM, still feeling really good about Tiger, still getting some MS, still getting major sore boobage (OMG I had to buy a new bra yesterday - went from a C to DD!!!!), getting over a cold - that was such a horrible experience, was waking up to retch at night but my throat felt too sore to take my usual ginger tablets :( DH was sick too, but he still looked after me, he's home on holidays so he's getting some boy time with the Wii. He deserves it :) I'm noticing a belly on me now, it's fairly hard, OH! and my belly button is shallower! I've always had a stupidly deep belly button, and now I've lost some of it! LMAO! Slowly starting to realise that I may not fit all my clothes for very much longer, not with any kind of dignity anyway!

AFM: Hoping, Iona, Kit, HPL, Tegam, Sammy, Dory: Thank you to all of you (and anyone i accidentally missed) who responded to my post. Unfortunately the news is not good. My bleeding stopped on Sunday and i went to the dr Monday. The baby was still there but dr couldn't find the heartbeat any more. Confirmed with a second scan today. Very upset that i have the worst of both worlds: lots of bleeding, no hb but no complete miscarriage either. I don't want a D & C if i can avoid it- i had three last year. I'm going to try medication management first. I'm praying hard that this will be over quickly: last time i had complications and couldn't complete the m/c for 3mths (even with 3 d & c's).

Thanks for all your support. I'm going to take a step back from BB- not log in as often- while i recover but will keep an eye on you all from time to time and then decide if i feel up to a TTC thread again. Feeling very upset about the prospect of another birthday with no baby.

possum I am so sorry to hear i am sending you long distance hugs.

Dory He sets no boundies with his children what so ever. And i really cant do anything becouse if i try to correct them on anything they go back to there mother and the she will call him or take him to court to say that i am being mean by putting them in time out. He was just sick and i did not take care of him what so ever. I am putting my lil peanut frist most of all ifi am tired i rest if i am feeling nausaus i rest the house work can wait until it passes. I have come to far to lose this one.

To everyone else that i missed Yes i am very happy and starting to relax i know that the u/s tech told me it matches with the dates that it should be so i think my dr was off the page the other day. I am not going to worry until there is a time to worry. As for his children being here if they get to much then i will call him and disapear for a day i am not going to put my baby at risk for his children what so ever. I know that must sound bad but this baby comes frist just as if those were my children. But thank you everyone the past couple of weeks i have been stressing and you all have been such a postive infulence to me. I serched in the us for a message board could not found one but i found this one more welcoming.

i dont blame you angelfish, he should show more compassion as its his bubba too, and kids needs rules and its unfair for you for not being able to set any. i am glad little bubba is doing well, my house work is starting to go a tad behind aswell, but my two kids have been good little boys so their easier to handle, i wish you all the best and hoping your pregnancy journey will be more ejoyable over the next few months xxx

oh possum: such tragic news. im so sorry that you are going to have a birthday with empty arms and a heavy heart. i had to have two d&c with my 1st m/c, it too was drawn out for far too long and yes that takes its toll! my heart hurts for you and your dh! fly free little one. i am blown away by your generosity to say such lovely personals when you have every right to be selfish in your grief.

Ashie - I just love the pic in your signature - the bed with two adults as bookends and 2 little ones in the middle. LOL - for us at the moment, it's 2 adult bookends and 3 little cats (who between them don't weigh 15 kgs) taking up MOST of the bed. But its only a winter thing, when they don't want us for our body warmth they stay away. Selfish little tykes.

Anyway, I am just about to go make a cinnamon tea cake. Dtiched the idea of scones or lammingtons, want something much easier. I am so glad it's not 14 degrees celcius today!

Angel - I searched around a lot too before I came to BB, and chose it for much the same reasons you said. It just had such a nice and supportive feel to it. You can let the crazy lady out in here any time, that's what it's for.

oh dory i have 2 cats and their so sooky! my kitten who's 5 months titty's me! she sucks on my clothing for some reason! never met a cat who did that. my other one is a huge british short hair with part of her tail missing shes the mob boss around our area lmao! my home is so cold at night and cheap home builders didnt include gas points so only have one electric heater for our bedroom and our boys are in with us! just so they are toasty lol, but so far now bad cold yet!

Oh Dory you always are so gentle. I have no idea have you still have the strength to be so kind! You are a wonderful lady and i know i will be a complete mess when i read your birth announcement! Everyone deserse their babies when they are born but some people, i dont know, it just feels more special!
