milly - really pleased to hear how well your scan went gives you that extra confidence to know that all will be well with this little bundle

bonham - welcome to the group and praying that you have a H&H pregnancy this time round and that all will be just perfect for you!

cherished - glad you're feeling ill again. I hope it keeps up for you!! lol seems weird every time I wish illness on someone in here but I completely understand the reasoning behind it!

tinar - I'm loving watching your ticker moving along. It's great everything is going so well for you!

megsmum & karen van good to see you in here too. Karen thanks for the info on aftercare. Been there twice but somehow find that I've forgotten all about that sort of thing!

AFM - saw my ob this morning. 37 weeks tomorrow. I had bloods taken again to check antiD and vitD and also had my antiD jab. Ob guesses baby's weight at 9lb2oz. When I told her how long my first two were (54 & 52 cm each) she said prob bub would weigh less and is mostly length but stuck by her weight guess anyway. Time will tell at any rate but it's always interesting to see how accurate the doc is! As always, loved to hear the heardbeat
Yesterday was our baby shower. My sis organised it and we made foam animals. Sis drew templates for us of different cartoon animals (she's very talented with drawing - unlike me!) and then we built them up out of different coloured foam and now I have to attach them to a mobile and have a pretty awesome baby mobile made by all my girlfriends! Pretty good fun had by all. Hubby hung around for it and I think he even had fun being here for it.
This week we're going to do the belly cast. I'm changing shape as baby is dropping so even though I'm getting bigger still, I'm figuring bub will either crack the cast or not look like a 'proper' preg belly! lol (I know, go figure how a MASSIVE belly could possibly not look like a proper preg belly!)
Off to do baked potatoes for dinner with coleslaw and garlic butter and cheese and sour cream and corn and avocado and and and... now I'm drooling!!!

Belly rubs to all!! Keep up the growing!

Smallfry WOW 37 weeks ooh not long now, how exciting. Sounds like you had a great baby shower yesterday and i too am drroling at the sound of your dinner YUM!!
Tina glad to hear things are going well, hopefully the BH dont get too bad and you can start to get some more rest soon. Before you know it little zen will be here and you wont even get a chance to think about labour hehe.
Cherished glad to hear your feeling ill again (as yucky as it is). My ms isnt really bad but bad enough and just when i thought it was gone last week, its back again this week. The doppler sounds like a good idea, ive been thinking about getting one too as it would make me so much more relaxed. Good luck with your scan on wednesday.
Anyway better get going, off to work and not looking forward to it at all.
    Take care

    Hello Ladies,

Well I'm back I got a BFP on friday last week but when my hcg came back at 19 I was scared it was another chem. pg like last month. Hcg was up to 40 yeaterday so it's doubling the way it should but I'm still too scared to get excited. Can't even get myself to put it on my signiture. I know I'm not going to feel secure in this or any pg until I'm quite far along given my history but my first milestone will be my 6 week scan. That seems so far even though its just a week and a half away!

Greenslw- Congratulations on your bouncing baby boy

Smallfryplus- so excited that there is going to be more baby news in just a few short weeks.

So glad to be back with all my other belly buddies.

eliselouise I'm not sure if I'll get a doppler now??? Apparently you really shouldnt' use them until after 12 weeks and I think I'll be pretty relaxed after the 12 week mark so I don't know????

    Hi to everyone else

Sunbeam - that's awesome news about your HCG.. hope you get to stay with us for another 30 more weeks
cherished1 : Good Luck with your scan hope it goes well

Hello to everyone else.. Sorry if I've missed ppl

Waiting for our first scan still, I can't get in to see anyone for another 2 weeks, it's so hard with my job and my DP late hours, I want him to be there with me....

Have to ask a question ladies, I keep getting really dull aches in my lower left side, my DP keeps saying it's the baby growing don't worry, but I'm me, and I can't help but over think things sometimes.. Have any of you experienced this? It feels like period pains but not as bad, nothing to make me worry normally expect for the fact that I'm pg...

Sunbeam - glad to see you posting in here again so soon! It's such an encouraging result. sticky vibes being sent by the truck load for you.

HPL -- lots of aches and pains associated with early preg in particular with your uterus settling in and starting to stretch. I had aches in a very specific spot on one side for weeks early on and was worried it might be something I didn't want it to be. In the end I concluded that it must be the site of implantation but I have no idea if that was correct or not! Count down to your scan! How exciting!! Shame you can't get it done sooner but I'm quite sure that the wait will be worth it!

Cherished - good luck with your scan tomorrow! Hehehe I just noticed your due date! I love it! 8 9 10 Not sure what I can say about getting a doppler. I've known a number of people who have gotten them, some it helped, some it didn't. Sometimes you can't find the heartbeat because of where the baby is lying, those were the times it seems to have been the most stressful.

sunny - hey I think you're next after me to drop your bundle! It seems weird to be waiting on my own birth now! Surely I'm not really next????!!

AFM today I made a last minute decision and side tracked myself in a chinese massage place. One reflexology massage and a million braxton hicks later, my feet feel so beautiful and I am a lot more relaxed. I saw posted somewhere that a reflexology massage set off BH in someone somewhere... I can vouch for that! I find myself wondering if there's a specific spot and if that spot would prompt labour... I feel a research project coming on for the evening.
My beautiful DD1&2 are both at a new school this week. DD2 just starting prep so two big girls at school now. It seems only yesterday that they were pushed out. DD1 worries that when I have this one I will get to see her less (I share custody). I had to reassure her that will absolutely not be the case but it did hurt that she's been given that idea somehow.
I stuffed myself senseless on baked potato this evening. Somehow it didn't happen last night and I ended up with crackers and cheese and a shocking case of indigestion. Tonight it absolutely had to happen and man, was so good I couldn't stop myself and now I'm so full I feel like I'm bursting!

    Cherished - good luck tomorrow!

hi to everyone else, and thanks for the congrats on the scan

AFM - Just something I thought I would share ...

yesterday was milestone number 1 (ie point of Angel #2)
I celebrated by spending half the day with my head in the toilet!

tomorrow is milestone number 2 (ie point of Angel #1), which I think will call for a similar celebration!

Bonham is your scan with your OB or at an x-ray place with a sonographer? My 7 week scan was with the OB and then I went to the GP and asked for a referral to have a scan so I get to have one tomorrow aswell. My 1st mc the bub stopped growing at 8 weeks 3 days so I knew I would not be able to relax and just have a 12 week scan after the 7 week one. Maybe you could do the same? Goodluck tomorrow, can't wait to see good news in your post!

HPL I have only just started to feel sensations down in the uterus area etc, really only over the last 4 days I think. It's pretty normal from what I hear

Smallfry I know how cool is my due date!

milly love you celebration style hon

cherished: my scan is at the local ultrasound place, my dr is my OB but doesnt have a ultrasound machine in his office as he works at the local medical centre. Got to love small towns. I cant remember if my dr wanted to see me after my scan or not d'oh, maybe i'll ring the receptionist once i've been to my scan, i guess it wouldnt hurt to ask for another scan around 10weeks just to put my mind at ease. Goodluck to you too what does HPL mean? i've never seen that before.

cherished - that's lazy in a good way It indicates a level of comfortableness (is that a word!) that we can nickname each other further than our already provided nicknames!! Good luck with your scan this afternoon and congrats on the RAK!

Me? I'm off for osteo and then lunch with some girlfriends and then after work this afternoon DH is doing my belly cast!! I'm really excited about that.

Sunbeam - hooray! Congratulations and welcome back! Sending you lots of sticky vibes!

HPL - I keep getting dull aces in my lower left side too. I had them so bad yesterday (along with a tiny bit of spotting) that I would have started freaking out had I not been throwing up all morning. Today thankfully everything has settled down. I think it's from the pressure of everything growing and stretching.

Smallfry - have fun doing your belly cast. I never had one BH with DS (well not one i could feel anyways) so I can't even imagine what they must be like.....why am I suddenly craving baked potato?

Cherished - glad to hear you are feeling sickly again (in the nicest way possible of course)

Bonhom - I live in a small town too so I know what it's like. All of our doctors work in one huge medical building and all scans are done over at the hospital. Here my doctor only wants to see me after scans/tests if the results are suspect. If everything is fine his nurse just calls to let me know all is well.

Milly - yay for passing your milestones!

Hi to everyone else that I've missed. There were a lot of posts to catch up on.

AFM - Just plodding along. I thought M/S had gone and tried to wean myself off my anti-nausea meds but it did not go well. I could not keep any food down yesterday and could barely get off the couch. Went back on them today and am feeling much better.

Had a bit of a scare yesterday with some tummy cramps and spotting but I think it may have been from throwing up so violently, as today all has settled down.
