Oooh, sorry, just realised how rude I've been - so busy I've been reading but not responding! It's only going to be a couple of lines now because DH and DS are in the shower and I have to be there for handover at the end of the shower, but at least it will be someone else!
That's a great bHCG CM - looks like things are good so far :crossfingers: And the dream is awesome too! Maybe a boy kitten this time?
I'm knackered today :( My boss commented on how puffy my hands and arms are and was wondering about my fluid retention (we're a team of nurses). Another thing to add to the list of things to ask the Ob on Thursday. She was concerned about GD. She's only just finished chemo and radio for cancer and she's worrying about me! I'm still not quite 100% but battling on atm, managed to make sausage rolls, vanilla slice and bolognese on the weekend though so at least I was somewhat productive :) Anyway, better go do shower handover :)

 CM.
Nothing happening here, can't believe i'm almost at single figure weeks :O
-
hi everyone,
thanks for the welcome
im sorry i can't remember many personals because its a new page but the people i know are
possum magic: so excited for you, won't be long now
damprye: gosh you have a lot going on, hope all is well with bub and you go a few more weeks yet
clairesmummy: lol at you talking to yourself, i'll try and get in here more often
hi to everyone else, sorry i will get better at personals in here
afm: had another hcg done today, it was nearly 13000 i was hoping it would be higher but it fits in where it is meant to so im trying to relax (not working very well), i have my first scan wednesday and i hope that reassures me, i need it to be within a couple of days of my dates because with the miscarriage at 9 weeks my 8 week scan showed it was only 6 week size. this is stressful !
-
MM- even if bub is a lil out on size, please try not to stress. This bub measured at 5w4d when I should have been over 8weeks already and now it is a huge chubba ready to pop.
WBM- hope the swelling isn't anything serious!
Phebee- I think most of us get the pain so nothing really to worry about *hugs*
CM- Lol it's ok, you didn't kill the thread. Glad to see things are going well to date :)
AFM- eww.... I just sneezed and got snot in my eye! Better than this morning when I sneezed and peed myself a lil  oh yes way tmi...
Bub has been very quiet today, only just made the 10movents in 12hrs cut off... Well took a lil longer but not too bad. Makes a big difference from the usual 10 movements in 5mins that bub usually does lol. Have an appt up at the hossy tomorrow morning so will bring it up then as well as that I don't know why but I've had two asthma attacks in the past three nights. Thank goodness I have my puffer handy nowdays anyway. Well time for sleep cos I'm absolutely pooped. Night all :)
-
awful night with DS, I've had less than 5 hours sleep, and now, because I have to go to work, I have to wake him up. Poor sausage! Oh well, hopefully he sleeps well at our friend's place today :( And I hope he's good for her - she's 35 weeks pregnant and will have two toddlers!
-
Anyone know how Stoked is doing? I see she is due in 2 days :D
-
Phebee~ WooHoo for being able to tell your family and friends darl that would be an awesome feeling, I have told my parents and 1 of my closest friends but that is it, I told them more so so I know I will have the support from them in case the wheels fall off my wagon again, FX it won't happen this time though. I have never heard of round ligament pain, what is it?
WBM~ Thanks darl, I don't mind either way boy or girl 'kitten' as long as bub is very healthy and happy that will be the world to me darl. Hope you are feeling better soon, all that cooking you done has made me feel really really hungry and I bet it tastes all wonderful as well. ;)
Cheshire~ WooHoo for single digits darl, not long now and we will all be reading your BA, that is absolutely awesome. Stoked sent me a msg a week or so ago but have not heard from her since, hope I haven't missed her BA.
Damprye~ Hmm that was one hell of a sneeze darl, mind you it did make me gag a little reading that, my tummy aint what it used to be at the moment, lol.....Good luck at your appointment today, hope everything goes great for you.
Minnie~ Good luck at your scan today darl, I will be sitting here in a knot with everything crossed for you, praying you get to hear bubs wonderful little heartbeat. I will be waiting to hear how wonderful it all went darl, sending lots of positive vibes your way....Hugs to you for your nerves as well darl.
The Mrs - Indias Mum - Possum Magic and everyone else I have missed hope you are all really well, big belly rubs to you all.
AFM~ OMG my nipples are so so so so tender and very sore, it kills to wear a bra and it hurts to have my shirt touch them, and I seem to have lost the nausea not sure if that is a good thing......I still feel like none of this is really happening to me and it's all a dream. I am still feeling totally exhausted though, poor little DD is away from school this week as she is really sick with the flue. Apart from all that all is very boring here and not much else to say.

Saw the OB today & Bambi is head down & engaged. Fx she stays that way now :D
Also explains why my belly has suddenly popped & the excess of BHs i've been getting lately, not to mention the increase in back pain.
Wow Alish your getting close, you must be so excited :D
CM i don't miss having the super sensitive boobs & i'm not looking forward to having it again once i start b/fing.
-
Sorry for the lack of persies but it's about 3am and just stopped by to ask a Q.
Has anyone else ever gotten shooting electric pains running the length of their uterus? Hurts like a mofo
-
Alish - time is ticking down now! I'm still swollen, heading to the Ob today so shall ask him about it. It's annoying, I'm almost at taking my rings off stage and I'm not even 25 weeks!
CM - just relax on the pg symptoms. I didn't feel pregnant at all this time for ages (certainly made me paranoid). But when it comes down to it, relaxing's the best thing to do for your little one, and there is nothing you can do either way - sooooo much easier said than done. Take a deep breath and wait for that scan, all my hopes and prayers that there's one big, strong, healthy heartbeat there for you to cry at! And for us to cry about when you tell us too :)
Cheshire - that's great news on position :) at least you know everything's down and in the right place even if it is more uncomfy.
Damp - I'm not sure, I can't remember having pain like that with DS, but it sounds like nerve pain, perhaps bubs is pressing on a uterine nerve and causing the pain (shooting pain - nerves, sharp/dull most likely to be muscle) - I hope it settles quickly and was only transient!
AFM, I'm off to the Ob today, will get my referral for my GD test and ask him to talk DH through all the pros and cons of c/s vs VBAC (DH really needs some info and this will be his first appointment this pg). DS felt bubs move yesterday and nearly jumped out of his skin - he does love touching my belly though :D Hope everyone has a great day!
-
Damp i had something similar the other day, thank goodness i haven't had it again.
I think bub was sitting on a nerve.
WBM Good luck today at the OB :D

Hi Lovely Ladies,
I feel a bit funny joining this group as the TTC after late loss group is my safety zone at the moment but I do have a few questions if that is ok?
I have my first drs appointment tomorrow to confirm preg and get referral for ultrasound and I nearly have a panic attack at the idea of an ultra sound now. The last one I had was the one where they told me there was no heart beat. I should be 9 weeks preg on Sunday by my dates and I'm terrified there will be something wrong. I know it is silly to be so worried as we didnt lose James until my 27th week, everything was normal until then, so should be with this one too. So after all that my question is, have any of you ladies experienced this panic/scared feeling?
I look forward to getting to know you all in here!
Much love to you all
Trace

EmilyJames- First of all, Congratulations. As to your question. I think we all feel anxious and scared a lot no matter when our babies have passed. Noone knows for certain what will happen and I myself am still scared as hell that I wont be bringing my baby home even though it is completely irrational and I have only had first trimester losses. Good luck and hope to see you in here more :)
-
Alish~ Sending you some bring dilations vibes darl, good luck and hope it all goes really smoothly for you.
Cheshire~ WooHoo for bambi being engaged and ready to go darl, sounds like you had a great appointment with your ob. And I had forgotten about the sore BBS when BFing, so I should remember this pain as it will be back probably 10 times worse hey, well I am hoping I get to that stage. FX
WBM~ Good Luck at your OB appointment today be thinking of you, hope it all goes really well. I am trying my hardest to remain calm, after all I can't change what ever shall be so I am doing my best to sit back and go with the flow. And no doubt if I get to hear bubs HB in a fortnights time I will definately be in tears for a very good reason, :)
EmilyJames~ Firstly I want to say a huge congrats on your BFP darl and I hope this pregnancy goes really well for you and you get your take home bub. Like Damprye said I think its all very normal for us to have panic attacks and be stressing over our little bubs that are growing inside us, we can all be told millions of times not to stress but it dont help one little Iota. I guess the main thing is we are all here for each other in the good times and the not so great times and we will support all our feelings with the utmost care and understanding we all deserve. It's a scary journey to be on but i am thankful to have women to share it with that have been through the same thing I have.. Any time you need to chat darl we are all here, I hope we can make you feel a little more at ease with being PG again after losing your little Angel. Take care darl and I look foward to getting to know you as well. xoxo
-
EJ - Congratulations on your BFP :) Like everyone said, completely normal to be panicky! I called my Ob at 9 weeks because I wasn't feeling pregnant any more and said "can I have a paranoid Mummy scan". He simply said "there is no reason why you can't have a scan every week, it's better than being stressed out about it". I hope the people caring for you are as understanding. Good luck for your scan - I hope there's a lovely strong heartbeat waiting for you :) Oh, like Damp, I've "only" had one early loss, but I remain paranoid at times about bringing home a healthy bub. Even now. I think the shine comes off pregnancy a bit, but it doesn't stop the wonder about the whole process and the love we feel for every little bubba held safely inside us!
Cheshire and CM, thanks for your good lucks! We had our appointment and the Ob is very happy with everything, he thinks the swelling is mostly weather related as my BP is 110/70 - normal for me. I'm getting kicks up near my ribs because bubs is carrying high, not a lot down the bottom there, but is a normal size (thank goodness). Still says, if I go into labour naturally, I have the same chances as anyone else of delivering naturally. So we're still firmly on the VBAC path - I think DH is coming around :D Got my GD test referral, I'll have that done in a few weeks time. So yay! All good in there atm, getting lots of strong movement and kicking :D love it. Oh, also heard the heartbeat on doppler which was lovely to hear it ticking away. That's about as high tech as my Ob gets, but I'm happy with that too, he thinks pregnancy and birth are natural things and his job is to facilitate what our bodies do naturally. His reasons for going into obstetrics (said to my aunt when he was an Ob student many moons ago - she was working with him) "I don't think women are given enough respect". This is why women love him!

hi girls,
im going to step out of the thread, my scan showed low fluid and low heart rate and measuring a week behind, said "prognosis guarded" and hcg has risen but only from 12900 to 14800 in over 48 hours so i know where this is heading
wishing you all well
i'll be taking a break from BB too
