I have been throwing up since about week 5...went to hospital for a few days when I was 7 weeks and put on a drip and medication. Things started to look up around 14 weeks so I backed off the meds...but the last week has been like it was right back at the beginning? I'm still trying not to take the medication but feeling so down that I think I'm going to have to. I threw up for 30 minutes straight yesterday while driving to the shop...great skill huh...thank goodness for the sick bags! I just had to get out of the house...I'm so sick of being sick!
Has anyone else experienced this and had ms stop altogether...I'm looking for hope that it could still settle and this won't last until bub arrives! I am going to the Ob on Thursday so hopefully he will have something helpful to say.
Thanks for reading!

I know how u feel . i had MS( well all day sickness) til 17 weeks. It did get better and did go away. I got it back towards the end again thou.
Try eating the water crackers before you even sit up in bed. I found 2-3 water crackers in the morning helped. I used the maxalon as i needed to get some relief from the nausea as i'd throw up everything and just get the sick feelings. I found the meds worse as they stop vomiting but still made me have the nausea all day. i'd rather spew then feel sick all day.
In my last pregs m/s disappeared around 14 - this time it lingered and I had some acupuncture treatment - brilliant - worth a try instead of meds if you can
awwe you poor thing . ive had all types of M/S first one all the way through . second about 14 wks . third , vomited a couple of times and that was it , 4th till 21wks and still upchuck occasionally lol.hopefully it will stop for you soon . i found ginger to be really good but if your really sick you may need some maxalon if that works for you.
Ellie- i am still sick all the time and throwing up most days. If i'm not being physically ill i feel like i could be at any moment.
Last pregnancy it lasted until 22 weeks. Just when i thought i couldn't cope anymore and it was going to last forever, it got better. Having said that, my mum was sick for the whole of her pregnancy. Only thing that fixed it was giving birth.
Hang in there. Fingers crossed it improves for us both soon.
