    Sore Gums?

Another qu? Who at 24 wks from LMP has bloody sore gums ?

I have developed over the last few days what feels like a swollen gum aroud the front teeth. It felt like had some food or something stuck in between the two teeth but NOPE ... yesterday i couldnt even have an orange as it felt like i had no room in my mouth to eat it lol....

I also have the odd bleed when i brush but i got that last pregnancy but this new sensation is driving me nuts....

Anyone else have this annoying symtpom if you like to call it that especially when there is nothing wrong with the gum that i can feel ????

Yep I did throughout my 2nd pregnancy - most times I brushed my teeth they bled a little - my Ob said if it got too bad to use a kids toothbrush but I just made sure I was gentle. They were quite tender and a little swollen the whole time too. Hope it doesn't make you too uncomfortable, if it gets too bad maybe get it checked out in case pregnancy isn't to blame!

thanks for the reply .... im not too bad as i have unfortunately have had gingivitis years ago and that is painful sore and very uncomfortable and i wasnt pregnant.. so im grateful it isnt that !
I will watch it and i will be careful not to agrevate it too much brushing ... i might even try some bonjella see if that helps the sensation to take a hike!

Very common in pregnancy! Don't stress, floss and brush regularly and it will subside after the birth.

Mine is so bad I get a mouth full of blood everytime I wash
