I had a bump at 16 weeks, but it was more of a poped belly look..

I didnt properly begin to show till i was around 24 weeks.. Strangers didnt begin to comment until i was 30 weeks!!

Totally common in 1st pregnancys, i wouldnt worry

I think this is something that is different for everyone. I got a bit of a belly at 17 weeks, but even now at 23 weeks most people don't realise I'm pg. I think you always notice it more yourself as well. And as tulip said it seems bigger at the end of the day. I think it's the muscles in your tummy getting tired and not being able to hold it all in all day

A friend of mine didn't show until way past 20 weeks - although her normal skinny skinny belly was now a normal flat belly a bit before that there was no actual protrusion first time round until about 22 weeks I think - second time round it's much the same.

I could tell something was happening from about 12 weeks but things really started to show around 14 weeks. That's when I told everyone at work and quite a few people said they had noticed I was bigger! Now at 16 weeks there is definitely a little round belly sticking out. It's not huge though but you can tell I'm pregnant.

I'm very small and slim so I guess it shows easily!

I'm one of the unlucky ones that had to start wearing maternity clothes from about 14 weeks only because I couldn't do up the buttons on my pants anymore. I remember being 12 weeks on New Years Eve and having to undo the button on my jeans otherwise I was going to burst and was in pain. I was saying to someone that I look 20 pregnant instead of 17.

I'm not a little girl but definately growing outwards instead of inwards! I try and hide it a bit still but sometimes it's hard.

Everyone is different so really everything goes!

I am almost 22 weeks and still not terribly noticeable.. People who know i am pregnant notice me growing slowly but i still hide it with my clothes, so i am still waiting!

Yeah I think for most it is a long waiting game with your first pregnancy. I have a belly, but it is not huge, I just want the watermelon look, but I guess good things come to those who wait, so my DP keeps telling me re: the engagement ring. LOL.
