Achiness & pain sides and lower abdomen

I've been getting it for the last few days. It feels like a nagging pain on the sides and lower abdomen. It feels a little like period pain. Is this normal?

Might just be caused by the uterus expanding. I've gotten on and off pain that felt like period pain all accross my from section and further down. Never any cramping though just the achiness and soreness that I would associate with that time of the month.

If there is no cramping or bleeding I would just take it easy and see how it goes. Fingers crossed you feel better soon x

I too have been getting this. Sometimes I get a sharp pain if I stand up to quick and things like that.
If your worried i'd see someone about it but I think its just stretching pains.

    Sounds like your ligaments stretching.

Or try getting bub to move its position as it might be laying on a nerve or something.

Also, mention it to your caregiver as they may want to check to see if you have a bladder infection.

I am also experiencing cramping in my lower and mid abdomen. i have had no bleeding and believe that it is just stretching. the body has to cope with alot when preparing for a bub. but its easy to say 'dont worry' because i still worry every day about each little cramp i get. i am going to mention it to my OB. In my books it says that it is normal but it doesnt hurt to be careful and get it checked out.

I'd be glad to not have the sudden sharp stretchy type pain in my lower belly whenever I move too quickly to be honest....it darn well hurts.

But it doesn't feel like it's inside my belly, just across the top - so I'm not overly worried.

I'm seeing my ob next week so I will mention it then. I just don't remember having it last time! Those sharp ones really knock the wind out of me. It is so hard to remember to move like a granny!
