For most airlines its 35-36 weeks for a single pregnancy and 28-32 for mulitples

    Virgin Blue
Women can fly with Virgin Blue until 35 weeks in their pregnancy without producing any documents. After 36 weeks expectant mothers must have a medical certificate issued for medical clearance before they are able to fly.

    Qantas
Medical clearance is only required if you are having complications of pregnancy. International travel is not permitted after the 36th week for routine pregnancies or the 32nd week for routine multiple pregnancies. Some countries place limitations on the entry of non-national pregnant women. It is best to check with the local consulate if in any doubt.

For domestic travel there is no restriction for a normal uncomplicated pregnancy but medical clearance is required if you wish to travel past the 36th week for uncomplicated multiple pregnancy.

I flew at 24-25 weeks. My obs recommended I take a copy of my history (just in case) and wear support stockings (flight was Melb-Cairns), which I also did. I had no problems at all, and just made sure I got & up down regularly, stretched & drank plenty of water. I've heard if you're looking huge (which you probably won't be at 23 weeks!), they CAN refuse to let you on (never actually heard of anyone having this happen tho!), so a letter from your doc giving your due date (or the history) could theoretically be useful.

    Hi there!

I flew to europe when i was 27 weeks to 32 weeks. It was pretty good on the way there but when i hit 31-32 weeks it was quite uncomfy.

Provided you are all good and healthy, should be no probs at all. I was 8 months when I flew Brissy to Townsville. I did ask my doc for a letter JIC I needed it. I didn't need it, but had it anyway.
