    baby not very active

i'm a little worried at the moment.. i haven't felt the baby move very much at all last night.. usually its really active at night time but i only felt it 2 times and once this morning .. i am going for the 18/19wk scan tomorrow so i will be able to see if its ok.. but should i be worried??

I had a massive pain in the stomach last night.. but i have also been very gassy and constipated and i am thinking i might have strained myself going to the loo yesterday.. so i'm hoping its just that.

    Should i contact someone??

Hi, I hope all goes well with your scan, I find that this baby is sometime quite and other times she never stops, I'd try not to worry to much, if you felt her move in the morning I'm sure your baby is ok

    Hi Sirenz,

The usual suggestions to try and get your bubs to move it he/she has been a little quiet is to drink and ice cold glass of water and just sit down and relax. This usually gets bubs moving... if you are concerned however you should contact your care giver.

I am sure everything is fine though and bubs is just having a big rest!

That's funny Sirenz, I do that all the time. I hate calling my baby 'it' so I end up saying he or she. All our friends and family jump if DH and I dare say he or she and they get all excited... it doesn't matter how many times we explain to them that we don't know what our bubs 'is' they think we do!!

    Hi Girls
It is common for baby's to have quiet times. Also after a few weeks of feeling your baby move you get used to the feeling and don't notice as much. Often if you decide to use a kick chart you will find that your baby moves more often than you thought it did
