    Unhappy Morning Sickness

I am currently 15 weeks and have been diagnosed with extreme morning sickness (hyperemesis). Talking with others at my first class, I feel like the only person with the extreme case which makes me feel quite lonely (as sad as that is). Am I the only one suffering with this right now?!
I have been told stories of others who suffered but it doesn't help speaking about the past.

Sadly Nai, I can only speak in past tense, but I had HG through all 6 of my pregnancies. It is horrible. The website "Helpher" can give you information that you can give to family and friends so that they can better understand what you are going through. Few people do. Even my doctors in my first 5 pregnancies seemed to not understand at all the severity of my "Morning Sickness" when I described it to them and would tell me "You are pregnant, what were you expecting"? --- to be able to keep ANY food at all down would have been a nice start.

Has your doctor tried any anti-nausea medication yet? Mine with #6 gave me Maxolon and I found it only worked for me if I took it the minute I got out of bed. It made me human again and for once I got to properly enjoy being pregnant without spending most of the time looking at my reflection in the toilet bowl.

There are some other ladies here currently suffering with HG. Hopefully they too will drop in so you can see for certain that you are not alone.

    Hi Inertia
    Thanks for the post.
Wow I am struggling with the one and couldn't imagine doing it 6 times! You are a very brave and strong woman.
I tried the Maxolon before I got up this morning and so far so good today. Hopefully this will help do the trick for the meantime.
I have all the other meds that I could get from the doctor and am starting to feel like I'm carrying a pharmacy around with me.
Thanks again for the advice and sharing your experience.
