    The Belly Button Ring!!!!

    Hi girls,

It's been ages since I was on here, I sure won't let that happen again. So much has been going on!!!!!

I'm now 20weeks and 5 days and I'm wondering if anyone knows what the go is with a belly button piercing? In the last week the belly has decided to pop and the piercing is staring to look odd. Should I take it out? Or is it safe to leave in there???

Donkey (affectionately named by DH) is certainly letting me know they are there! I'm getting kicked all the time! Most active at night and in the morning. I am, however, a little disappointed as DH has only ever felt the movements once. I almost feels as though he is missing out on this whole process, even though when the movements start he is straight to my belly, but donkey just stops. I hope he starts to feel a bit more soon.

I took mine out at about 18 weeks, it looked as if it was getting infected, it was all red and puffy, so i thought best to remove it. Maybe see how you go for another week, you never know, all might be alright for a bit longer yet...

Most reputable piercing shops will carry a flexible plastic barbell which you can use while pg, that will flex with your changing shape. That way you don't have to lose your piercing while pg.

I took mine out at about 20 weeks and put it back in soon after while bub was born, while the skin is still really loose

I took mine out about 3 weeks ago and I'm 32 weeks now. Was starting to get a little sore and was weeping a little so I decided it was time to go

Mine has closed over twice, and the second time I didn't bother to get it re-pierced. Mine never lasted more than 2-3 weeks before closing! :P
