Ok this might sound quiet strange so i dont know if its my body, my baby or what the heck but wondered if anyone else has had the same experience.
A few nights ago i was sitting at a meeting when all of a sudden my belly made this noise that sounded like a fart! LOL no one turned like they heard it or anything but i was pretty embarrassed and wanted to say it was my belly!!
In the last few days i've noticed a few strange popping like sounds (maybe only i hear it) from my belly and wondering if anyone has had this bizzare occurance of belly farts LOL!
When i read your thread i couldnt stop laughing!! I have the same sounds coming from my twin boys. I am 22 weeks pg and i can tell you that sometimes the noises that come out of my tummy are not human!! I hear like a crackling sound sometimes and othertimes i get a big gurgle. I think its the movement or it also could be your baby hiccupping. Sounds weird but babies do that my OB has told me. I think its the slushing around!! Anyway any funny noise is a blessing. It just goes to show that your communication with your little one comes in all different ways. Embrace the farting and gurgling i say sweetie. Hahahaha.

Its funny you ask that question cuz my DH spends most nights with his head on my belly and he says he can hear baby moving around. He describes it as a bubbly sort of sound, but maybe you can hear baby. I never believed him (but always go along with it cuz I think it's really cute!)
Fortunatly I haven't had belly farts!!!lol But maybe now I might believe hubby

lol...that exact thing happened to me yesterday! i was standing talking to friends when all of a sudden from deep inside the middle of my belly a gurgling rumbly sound came out! it felt like gas or bubbles or something travelling from lower to upper of my insides! AND it was really loud! I don't know if anyone else heard it but i thought to myself " Is this how you start to feel your baby moving?' I am only 13 &half weeks so i think its a bit early for me BUT it certainly was a strange and new sensation!
Bea, Im 13.5 weeks too and I had the same noise last night. I thought it was baby moving also. I was laying in bed at the time and heard like a bubble bursting. Then I heard it again at 3 am but smaller quicker ones.
Who knows, wind or baby moving?lol
