    Braxton Hicks?? A bit early??

For the past maybe 4 days I have felt this weird feeling in my tummy. I couldn't work out what it was but it was a familiar feeling. Then this morning it happened when I was lying in bed and I felt my tummy and it was really hard and tight down the bottom. Then it happened in the car again today and it finally dawned on me, it's Braxton Hicks! Seems really obvious now, duh, LOL.

Isn't it a little early for this?? Is it something to be worried about this early?? There's no pain or anything, just that tightening feeling.

It's perfectly normal, I had them from around 13 weeks with my 2nd and 3rd pregnancy

Nope. I had them from 11 weeks with my first pregnancy. A bit later for this one, but I think that's because of the provera I was on in first trimester.

I'm sure I read somewhere that women actually BH through their entire pregnancies, they just don't feel them straight away. Nothing to worry about!

I've been feeling them for a good 6ish weeks or so too. I had been feeling them fairly early on with DS's pg too, my midwife told me it's perfectly normal!

I've been getting them too, I also seem to notice it more in the morning when I'm lying in bed, it feels like a really hard bump, I had them early with DS2 as well and was told it was all perfectly normal and not to worry unless you had painful cramps or bleeding.
