Hi Ladies
Much to my husbands joy and my amazement my breasts are growing, growing, growing......Around 8-10 weeks the skin started to peel so I uped the moisturized & mixed in some oils which has worked wonderfully.....up until last week. At 20 weeks they started doing this again but much worse. Have tried Vaseline Int Care, Cocoa Butter, Bio Oil, Baby Oil etc....The skin peels off like sunburn and is quite soft, the skin has become red under with little veins or patches of redness, no itchyness or soreness and the nipples are fine. Typically I'm a 12DD, but am now going into 14D or DD. The chemist has told me to use Cetaphil, let dry, then lightly apply dermAid which has a 0.5%cortisone and is safe for less than 7 days use, then leave them to dry for 15mins before dressing. Am thinking of trying pur vitamin E oil & visiting the Doc if this fails.
Has anyone suffered this, no one I talk to has
HELP there's still 19 weeks to go!!!
oo i feel you on the dry skin. mine how ever is only around the nipples - but i was blessed with strech marks on the rest of the boobie.
i found that alovira helps alot - i use the gel from woolies on them atm - and later on lansoh - which is sheeps fat (stuff lol) and that can also be used whilest b.fing i found that mine comes and goes with the growing boobies, and there isnt much that can be done - i did find about 2 weeks ago wearing just a cotten tank top/singlet (i have a few kmart b/f singeletts with out the padded cup) helped a fair bit - i also try and sleep with them on too - seems to help keep them "air rated" as such.
I didn't have trouble with dry skin luckily, but I believe that cocao-butter is good for stretch marks, so I wonder if that would help. I do hear you on the growing breasts though - I went from a 12 C to a 14G - I kid you not!! I had to keep buying new size bras every month or two.
PFF nothing has worked for stretchmarks for me! I have gone from a 10B to a 12DD, and my poor breasts are covered in stretchmarks It is most distressing for me, I never expected to be so upset about it! I have tried Palmer's, Gaia, Bio Oil, Tinderbox, all sorts of creams.
No trouble with dry skin here really too... Although my nipples did get flaky and I found Lanisoh fixed that right up, made them soft and nice again.
this might sound a bit weird but i saw Kate from john and kate plus 8 do this... after rubbing in her special formula (whatever it was but i think it included vaseline) she covered her belly (with SIX babies inside!!!) with glad wrap for a while- maybe she slept in it???
Worth a try with whatever you're using, it means most of whatever your using will go into your skin and not evaporate... ????
Thanks for your responses ladies. It seems to be getting a bit better, but am still searching for the miracle cure. Unfortunately stretch marks are not a worry, I got those with the onset of puberty!! My skin every where seems to be a lot dryer at the moment, will just take luxurious baths and walk around at home naked smothered in cream, better get that rolling pin out to keep the husband away!!!
I already have massive honkers, I started as a G cup *gulp* I know I need to go up a size, but haven't as of yet.....I am in denial that I may need a h cup!!Lol
