i just went to the toilet and wiped myself and it felt very slippery wiped again and there was what looked like what my mucus plug did in my last pregnancy but with no blood... wasnt as much either but it was globby ( Sorry TMI)
is it possible for a small amount to kind of leak.. or should i be a bit worried.
sorry to sound gross, but could just be some congealed cervical mucus or leftover DTD evidence - especially if no tinge to it. The plug can replenish, so if it wasn't much, I wouldn't worry too much, just mention it at your next check-up or ring a midwife (depending on your care preference) and just check-in if you are more comfortable with it.
But, I don't think it sounds like the whole plug, but it might be a little bit KWIM?
hopefully just some congealed mucus - it was very thick not like DTD left over ( Hehe) With my last pregnancy i lost it in bits... thats why i worried a bit i guess.
Everything that's not in the books is worrying!! I have lost little pieces that look like snot (gross again I know!!), but only little and not frequent and forgot about it until I saw your post.
So glad we have BB to talk about the real ins and outs of preg!
In my 2nd pregnancy I had more mucous as the pregnancy went on. Maybe that's all it was. Maybe if it doesn't stop in a day or two get checked out.
It's good that there was no blood in it though.
yeh ive got mucus as well.. sometimes when i wipe i freak too but theres no blood... i asked my m.w and she said it would just be mucus. eww i hate that word. lol
it might be an idea to go in to your ob/midwife/doc and get a swab done. I had this happen and just on a hunch went and called my ob. It wasn't even from wiping - I just saw it in the toilet....She told me to come straight in and have a test to rule out mucous plug. In my case I tested positive for PPRM and was admitted to hosp (33 weeks). I am not in any way wanting to worry you, but it would be best to be safe and rule this out.
On the way in to the hosp I felt silly like I was wasting my OB's time, but ended up having a baby from the visit. The swab test is quick and not painful but might give you some reassurance.
Good luck.

: spelling
I'd check with your midwife/doctor just incase but sounds like it's mucus, it builds up and is very common in pregnancy and completly normal! If your not having any contractions or weird feelings then I wouldn't be worried about it!
