Hi Shell. I'm not really sure what your pains are from... wish I could offer you more reassurance than this but I just wanted to say that all sorts of weird stuff happens to your body when you're pregnant, not all of it comfortable and chances are, it's just your body stretching and shifting to accommodate that growing little being in there.

I had AWFUL and excruciating wind pains that felt nothing like the wind pains I'd had before. Was unconvinced that it was actually wind pain but de-gas really helped! I also had nasty pains as my uterus stretched that kinda felt like period pain. Was convinced I was miscarrying, but had a scan to see a happy little bubba in there. Finally, the relaxin in my system (hormone that makes all your ligaments stretchy in preparation for birth) made me hyper flexible so I put my back out about 5 times and had a super achy pelvis that flared up if I walked too much or even sat the wrong way. All that hurty stuff and more (don't get me started on the sore ribs and heartburn!) and my bub was fine.

Of course, get it checked out - it's so much better to have a professional take a look and give you answers and reassurance. But in the mean time, please try not to freak yourself out with 'worst-case scenarios'.

Big hugs to you hun and all the best for your scan on Monday.
