Not everyone gets cravings. I do occasionally, all of a sudden I really feel like an apple or a piece of chocolate. Its not an all day every day thing, just something that comes over me and never for anything wiered.

I haven't had any... and people always ask me! lol.

I've always craved chocolate, so maybe i'll just start blaming the pregnancy on that one

i only had one real craving the whole pregnancy. there was food i wanted but couldn't get, and i got over it - but i was a mess at 3am one morning cos i'd dreamed of being at a bbq and having a burger, and woke up demanding DH drive to town to get me a cheeseburger!

scary thing is - i HATE macca's with a passion - would never have eaten it anyway. "town" is a 60k round trip and i refused to go with him (it was the middle of the night!) so it would have been cold. he offered every solution he could. we had rissoles so he offered to make me a home made cheese burger but i refused. in the end i was a bawling mess and told him to get me a cheese burger without the bun or the burger - in other words a piece of cheese. i ate that, half asleep - and went back to sleep never to crave anything so violently again!

my only other "i wish i could have" kinda craving was for Hedgehog Slice - but that's wasn't with the same violence and emotion by a long shot!

    BG, that is hilarious!
I haven't had Ribena for, I don't know, maybe 10 years? One day I was walking home and I just needed it, so turned around, hoofed it to the shops, and bought an economy sized bottle. I also found that sometimes I didn't so much feel a need for something, but certain foods have really comforted me, like the smell of vanilla has helped me through some bad m/s.

But I know lots of people who haven't really had them. One friend had one for iced water. So they can be quite mild sort of things.

I tend to think the cravings are a bit rarer that everyone thinks. In fact it's only people who haven't had children who ask me if I've had any cravings.

Yes there have been foods that I've wanted (like potato cakes and fish and chips and yes chocolate) but I don't think these are cravings, I think I am just more inclined to let myself eat these naughty foods that I normally deny myself cos I'm pregnant.
