Sugar Blood test

Can anyone please tell me when I should be going for my Sugar Blood test.

I am 24 weeks pregnant and had my OB appointment today but my OB never mentioned anything to me and I just remembered now about it when I got home.

If anyone can help it would be much appreciated.

As the other girls have said you have the test at approx 27/28 weeks pregnant. Where I`m going for this bub they don`t normally do the test but they decided they wanted me tested because of previously having a big bub.

Yep had mine at 28 weeks. If youre only doing the short glucose tolerance test then you dont need to prepare for it, on the day they give you the glucose drink, and you have to sit quietly for an hour and then they do a finger pr*ck test. Only thing i can suggest is dont eat anything too sugary the day prior to your appointment as it may effect your sugar levels and youll have to do the long glucose test which takes a few hours.
