Possible BH's at only 22 weeks??

Hi girls,

I am 22w1d pg now and was wondering, if it is possible that i could be experiencing Braxton Hicks this early?

I know i didn't have them this early with my DS. And would love to know if anyone else has had BH's at this stage of the pregnancy.

Yes, I had some about a week or so ago & soaked in a warm bath they eventually subsided!!!!

They say if they go away in a warm bath then they were BH's!!!

Absolutely, yes, it is possible. I've had tightenings from 18 weeks with this one. Most women get them earlier with a second child.

Leah, I had BH nearly every day from 20 weeks onwards when I was pregnant with Tehya (my 3rd). Sometimes they were really painful and would go on for hours. Even the Dr's at the hosp. didn't think I would go full term because I was getting so many. I did though. Yep the best thing to do is take a nice warm bath if they are bothering you.

I guess what i am experiencing is BH's then. How exciting!

Great to hear that it is normal to be having them this early on. I will have to try the warm bath next time i get a good bout of them.
