    Decreased Movements - 26 weeks

Normally my little man is so active, I mean over the top and extremely noticeable. However I haven't picked up much movement today at all. I joked to my husband a few hours ago that he'll wait till I get to bed before waking up and then keep me awake. But now thinking about it as I lay in bed I haven't had much movement at all. In the last 30 mins only 2 kicks, still pretty defined like normal just not as often.

Should I be concerned? Just had a large glass of cold water to see if it wakes him
    Up a bit.

Hun if it doesn't wake him up I'd go to your hospy and get him monitored.
Better to be safe & give yourself peace of mind too. We had a day around 28 weeks where I didn't feel much & the hospy told me I needed to come straight in. Bub had turned around and I just wasn't feeling her but she was fine. Don't lie there worrying all night, go in if you can.

Yep, I would ring the hospy too, if only for your own peace of mind. Having had a baby who was compromised inutero, and having to monitor his movements, I know how worrying it can be. You'll only lie awake all night, best to be checked so you know what's going on.

I hope he gets kicking for you . Don't ever feel worried to call your hossy/Ob, they would much prefer to check things are going okay, than leave you worrying.

I used to hate that. My DD was soooooo active all the time and there was one day where she didn't move AT ALL. I was freaking out. But I sure paid for it that night as she had a parteeeee!

Hope things are ok and as the girls said, go and get checked out if you're worried xxx

I used to find the more I willed the movement the less they would and then I would get all stressed out! You know your body and baby movements trust yourself even if you are told you are over reacting, anything for peace of mind. We could hear our babies heart using a toilet roll but that was a few weeks further on! Go well x

Still less than "normal" but over the 10 an hour thankfully. I have an OB appointment on Wednesday so will bring it up. Perhaps hes just moved into a different position.

Thanks for your comments ladies it sure does help to bounce concerns off others.
