I was just wondering what girl parts look like on a scan as ive had two boys. If anyone has any scan pics can they put them up. Im not finding out the gender this time but I want to have some fun guessing!
girl parts have 3 or 4 lines and boy parts are bulging like, girl parts are like flat..you can do a search on google for scan pictures for gender and see the difference.
I had a scan at 15 weeks and tried to a have a peek when the leg got measured and I couldnt see anything at all. Do you think the parts are formed by then? With the boys it was easy to spot. Maybe thats because they scanned the right bit.
Im so naughty for trying to guess hehe Dh and I agreed this one would be a surprise!
Some sonographers tell by the postion of bladder too if they are unable to see clearly....boys are in a different position to girls... well thats wat i was told anyhow
The baby is fully developed by 3mths (all happens in the first 12weeks!) and then after that its just growing and getting stronger... and finer details like hair etc happen i think... thats my understanding anyway...
On my website there is a pic where you can see her 'moo moo' (i'm gonna cop it for that aren't i) which is three lines... You can see it in her profile shots, it's quite close to her head... but if you want a money shot, email me and i'll email you a pic.
But in saying it looks like three lines, i know quite a few people that have been told boy but the baby was actually born a girl - sometimes bits can be a bit swollen.
apparently it's 3 lines that give it way but it's harder to tell with girls,because the only other giveaway is if there is no dangly bits at the front.
I had my 20 week scan and was told it might be a girl because of the lines ( wich make up the labia(sp)) but this could also be the testicals that haven't droped down and without seeing if there is dangly bits at the front there is no way to definatly tell and our bub#2 wouldn't move to to show us if there was/n't any she wouldn't even give us a % she was that unsure .....
Our DD is a girl (obviously) and her ultrasound there was no mistaking she was a girl because of the 3 lines (that and it looked like she was sat on a glass table showing the world her girly bits) hehe.

Google "Boy and girl ultrasound Photos". The first page that comes up shows you a whole different scans of both boys and girls so you can see the difference. We were told Jesse was a boy, even though you couldnt miss his boy bits, i still stressed! That page helped though!
DD#2 you could see the 3 distinct lines....we have been told this one is another girl (yayyyy i love girls) but the sonographer did say the balls can take a while to drop - up to 32wks of pregnancy...???!!!!!
I just looked at the pics and it is what it looked like at 15 weeks (sort of) for a girl as the woman was measuring a leg and I could kinda see between the legs. To be honest I could of been looking at anything though. I have another scan in 3 weeks so ill have another naughty peek then. I think unless they point out the three line thing you cant be sure either way. Theres no mistaking your having a boy when you see the boy parts on a clear shot.
Catherine- did you mean the 3 lines in the b/w pic that look like they are on her belly? Im a bit rubbish at interpreting scans lol How far were you when you got that 3D one done? im think of getting one this time.
With my little boy, it was definately a boy as it looked like a turtle LOL - two round bits and then the doodle sticking out the front, also for the position of it, it was more out front between the legs, I could see his little bum cheeks and this was further out.
