    Hormones - Boys vs Girls

I just have a question, and its more about an old wives tale....

But, anyone that has had both boys and girls, what was your experience with your hormone levels? I have had 4 boys, and have never experienced the amount of anger and moodiness I am suffering with right now! All the old wives tales point to me having a girl, but OMG, I am so angry at my DP all the time! His breathing, and esp his snoring and his loud eating!! I have to sleep in a different room than him, because I cannot stand the amount of noise he makes while sleeping!

Anyway, just looking at how hormones may or may not have affected you during pregnancy and if they were worse with a boy or a girl?

Hmm. In retrospect, I *was* much crabbier when I was pregnant with DD than with DS... But that could've been a whole range of things, I suppose.

Sorry, not much of an answer

I definitely noticed a difference between being pregnant with my son and daughter. With my daughter I cried a LOT and over anything too such as not having cheese sauce available to put on my cauliflower lol. I was very sensitive.

With my son I was angry a lot, everything annoyed me. I also had a higher libido when pregnant with him and I was told this was due to the increased testosterone I was carrying.

We are now pregnant with our 3rd, I have been an emotional tearful mess, libido is non existent. I said to DH I bet this baby is a girl and last week we found out we are indeed expecting another girl.

For me the hormones have been a big indicator as to which gender I was carrying however I have heard women disagree on this so each woman/pregnancy is definitely different.

With my DD i was EXTREMELY emotional, i cried over EVERYTHING. But with DS i was VERY crabby, from word go my DP said he knew our baby was a boy just by how crabby i was, i did however get very emotional in the last trimester.

So, turns out we are having a girl

I knew this pregnancy was different, craving sugar, and so moody and angry and mean......lol

I guess stronger female hormones for me mean a girl

I've got girls and boy... Emotional wise I was pretty laid back with both genders, possibly more crabby with the girls. If its any indication, this one has to be another girl lol

I was teary emotional with DD. This pregnancy I'm far less tolerant of stupid people. I flipped a driver the finger last week because they did something stupid on the road and the didn't have the decency to apologise or even acknowledge it. That's not like me. I'm usually scared to do the road rage thing in case they chase me. I'm glad they couldn't see that I was pregnant - not very classy!

    I think I'm having a boy.

Dream - Stupidity, inconsideration and things like nose picking really anger me. It's not hard to think of others, be quiet or pick up after yourself. Stupidity I guess can't be helped and well nose picking is just gross and a massive turn off. My partner does it a lot and he wonders why I don't want to kiss him...

But my hormones have gotten better, I'm still moody, but I think that just goes with being pregnant lol

I'm so pleased you're getting your little girl. Good luck to those boys that have a crush on her in the future... with 4 big brothers they have no chance! Lol!
