    how big is ur bump?

    Hi guys,

    I'm new to the forum.

Basically my question is how big is ur bump? I am currently 15w3d with my 3rd and I have quite a significant bump out of nowhere! With both my boys, I didn't show until around 20 weeks. It's less than 12 months since I gave birth, so would that have something to do with it?

Any advice would be great - I havent had a midwife appointment yet and don't have one til 30th January....and no ultrasound either until 29th January.....worrying myself it could be twins due to my size!!!

    Thanks,

    Flik

    Hi Flik, Welcome to BB!

Everybodies bumps are so different so I wouldnt be worried about it. If you are interested in seeing photos of different sized bumps and at different stages of pregnancy check out the gallery and look at belly photos. There are 1st trimester, 2nd trimester and 3rd trimester photos from diferent members.

here is the link to the belly gallery https://www.bellybelly.com.au/forums...ry.php?cat=508

A friend of mine asked " how long now" and when I said not until June her eyes popped out of her head.
Im not quite sure how to look at that. Horray for showing my pregnant belly or OH NO maybe I need to slow down on the snickers bars.

Maybe this one will be a girl for you or like you said it could be your uterus saying "Oh this again" .I think my belly popped at around 14 weeks.

    Or it could be twins

    Bump? What bump?

I have a little extra roundy bit and I am wearing bigger tops just becuase of the size of my boobs but haven't started on maternity clothes yet.

However in saying that I have been very down and hardly eating so I would NOT reccomend that to anyone.

I started showing at about 12 weeks. I gave birth in Jan 08 and fell pg aagin in July and was told that my muscles were just going back to where they were. I was really scared too about twins, but there's only one little girl in there. I have a short torso apparently and my belly is now HUGE. I can't imagine it getting any bigger (but I know it will). Don't worry yourself, hon, I'm sure it's just your belly bouncing back.

Not very big at all!! I'm hoping there is still something in there! I think it's probably because it's my 1st pregnancy, but still...I don't seem to be getting any bigger either, unless I have just eaten dinner! Lol. I guess I still have ages to go, but thought I would be at least a little bigger than I am now. I can tell, but to someone else if I am wearing a tight-ish top it would probably just look like I should cut back on the chocolate....

I was convinced #4 was twins due to my size, but she wasn't

This is my biggest bump at 25 weeks so far. It suddenly popped at fifteen weeks and has grown at an alarming rate ever since. I've put it down to my abdominal muscles just throwing up the white flag.

i'm at 15 weeks with #2 and my abs gave up at 9 weeks - i suddenly had to start wearing maternity pants cause nothing else would fit! I now look preggers which is better than just looking like i had had a really big christmas

I think everyone is different. my sister hardly showed until the end of her pregnancies...

I showed early with my first, earlier with my second and I couldn't do up my jeans at 6 weeks this time, with my third. I don't think it at all possible that I have more then one baby - but rather more likely that my uterus 'remembers' what it is suppossed to do and does it quickly. I have been wearing maternity clothes from eight weeks and get lots of comments when people find out I'm not due until 5th August.

Thanks guys, I'm feeling a LOT better about it. I mean, bottom line is, if there's more than one, it's just more to love!!! No turning back now!! Just under 2 weeks til I find out now anyway, just got to hang on....

I fell pregnant when DD was almost 10 months old so like ryatha, I think my abs gave up and my tummy popped out. I looked 4 months pregnant pretty much straight away and I can't wait until my tummy hardens up but my pants are very snug at the moment.

My girls are 25 months apart and I did not start showing until I was 20wks. We conceived this bub when DD was 10 months and by 12wks I was showing. I thoughts there maybe be twins, but nope there is only one. My uterus and tummy muscles must be more relaxed this time around

I popped early & had a massive growth spurt between weeks 7 & 9. It's slowed down some now but have a huge belly. My FH was measured at 24cm at 24weeks, don't know if it's average or not though.
