Did anyone else feel like this?

    Hi everyone!
I am now 16weeks and 5 days pg, and am loving the whole process so much. I havent been sick at all, and even have a belly now! But the one thing that bothers me is that I feel constantly obsessed about wether my baby is OK... does anyone else get this constant worry?
I have felt flutters of movement on and off, but today have felt nothing, ans I cant help but think something is wrong.
Maybe because I dont FEEL very pregnant....I dont know.......Its driving me mad though, so I was just after some reassurance!
    Thanks heaps...

Totally! It is completely normal to feel worried about whether your baby is ok I felt like it through all my pregnancies. It gets alot easier when they start really moving around though, very reassuring.

    Good luck with your pregnancy!

I felt exactly the same! I was constantly thinking something had happened like a missed m/c but if you're already feeling flutters then that's great!! I didn't feel any kicks until 17 weeks!!

I even had dreams about things not being ok! But i think it's normal, because you go into protective mode, it's practice for being a mumma!

I am feeling the same. I couldn't wait until the 12wk scan to make sure that there was a bubby in there and now I am 16wks and 3days and I absolutely can't wait until the 20wk scan so I can check that bubs is doing fine. I have had little flutters here and there and not every day so I wouldn't worry as they have so much room to move around in. A friend and I think that we should have a window in our tummy so we can check to see how bubs is doing. LOL

Don't worry, I feel exactly the same thing! Worst thing is, I think I am over obsessive about it. Everyday, I keep on asking myself if I felt my baby moved. I don't go on a day without asking myself this questions a few times. Poor DH, I think I am driving him nuts because at times he sees me frawning and I would tell him that I am worried there's something wrong because I haven't felt movements for a few hours. I am now nearly 22 weeks and have been like that since day I found out I was pregnant! I think I will go on until baby is born! Just 18 more weeks to go! YAY!

Yep! Me too, especially this time after my m/c last year, but I was the same with DD.

I think it's totally normal to worry. I hate the days when bub is a little quieter than usual.

i think we all worry and for me the middle weeks like around 14-20 weeks was the worst as not a lot was happening- i didnt feel mvts, tummy didnt grow a lot etc etc. the 20 wk scan was reassuring and then once mvts started it is good - though that can plague with more worries when they have a quiet day... my tummy grows so much though now that i could not possibly think i am no longer preg...
aaah there are so many things to worry about and i am sure once these worries stop when we have healthy babies a whole raft of new ones begin... the life of a mother!

Thanks everyone...... Its funny how we all feel the same way at times! It was reassuring to read that around this time (16 weeks or so) most of us are in the same boat with not alot happening, or so it seems.
I just cant wait til next friday when i have my 18 week scan so i can know for sure that everything is progressing well, and hopefully I can find out if our bub is a boy or a girl!
I find that my bbs have been really sore the whole time, so thay are a good reassurance, although I am forever walkng around squeezing and poking them to make sure thay are still sore!

The things we do.... I keep telling yself that whatever happens happens, and not to worry, but its hard.

Yep until I could feel definate movement and saw the 18week scan i was really worried. But it gets better and more reassuring and even annoying after 12 hours of kicking and you just want to SLEEP lol

Perfectly normal I'm afraid, as all the others before me have said. They say the first 40 years of motherhood are the hardest....

I know exactly how you feel. I started feeling the baby by week 15 -16 and week 19 it stop for two days. I was so scared! Hubby couldn't calm me down so I went to the Dr to make sure everything was fine, he had a look at baby and listened to its heart beat and all was fine. He said I had felt it very early and got too use to it. It depands on where your plecenta sits and how baby is laying at the time you may not feel a thing. Also as like ourselves, baby has its tired days where it doesn't do too much.

All sounds pretty normal. Take care and keep smiling!!!

Its perfectly normal to worry about its movements! At 33 wks, I still worry! The further along you get, obviously the bigger he/she is and the less room they have to move. Mine doesn't have a lot of room left, but still worry if I've made my 10 movements in 12 hours (per the kick chart). At night, I try to work out if what I can feel are movements or b/h. most times it b/h unless the babys lying sideways and flying like superman.

    Enjoy your pregnancies!

I still worry and i can feel movement every day. Even if i havent felt him move for a few hours i start to stress.

DH thinks i am nuts, but i just want everything to go perfectly and after all the ups and lots of downs with IVF i constantly wait for something to go wrong.

I think i've felt like this since first finding out i was pregnant. Whenever we have an OB appointment or a scan it eases my mind and i'm ok for a week or so and then the worry starts to creep in again - we got to hear the heartbeat yesterday which was so great as i was really starting to worry. I don't really have any symptoms and i kept thinking "maybe my belly's just getting bigger becuase i've been eating so much!". I'm slowly getting my mind to relax and am trying very hard to keep those negitive thoughts away.

Yep, I was TOTALLY like that! I would even sit and try to count exactly how long since I felt a movement and then MAKE the baby move!!
