    Question itchy rash... any ideas?

Hi. I've come out in an itchy rash in the last week and the doctor I've seen today thinks it's just an allergy... I'm on hols in qld from SA and while it looks like little insect bites, it itches like crazy and has moved gradually from just my lower legs right up to my upper arms. Nothing on my face and nothing really on my ever growing bump. It's bub number 2 and I had nothing at all like it with DS... The local GP suggested I take telfast and I phoned my Dr at home to double check (poor guy, got him out of the swimming pool) and he said telfast should be ok. Has anyone else had anything weird like this? Dr reckons it's too early for it to be one of the more common skin things like PUPPPS which he says is not usually an issue til 3rd tri. Weirdest part is I'm the only one in the family with these 'bites'...

Hi I am from queesland but just moved to sa. maybe you are experiencing hives? To stop the itch dab some calomine lotion on the spots if your allowed to use it when pregnant. When I was living there I would often break out around this time and my dr always said it was stress but I think it is a flower or something. Hope yoy get better.

    Isn't a heat rash?
Hope it settles down soon for you

Thanks guys. Have tried the calamine lotion but it's everywhere so I pretty much have to bathe in it I think. Telfast has helped a bit so far and I haven't needed in the last couple of days. The weirdest part is that it's only me... noone else has heat rash or anything - must be just another joy of being pregnant over summer - I didn't have that to deal with with DS so it's a whole different journey!
