    Heaps of CM Normal?

Ok, firstly sorry for the way TMI but I'm getting HEAPS of cm - sometimes creamy but mostly more watery, but still with white colour rather than transparent.

I was diagnosed by a doctor in Hong Kong a couple of weeks ago with placenta praevia and I am seriously stressing about everything twinge and discharge. I remember the huge amounts of CM from early pregnancy with my girls, but I don't remember having anything like this sort of amount this far along.

Can anyone reassure me that this is still normal? I'm seeing my OB next week when he's back from leave but that still seems like a very long way away.

I thought I was past the stress of knicker checks I hope someone can tell me this is normal.

Yep normal. Unless it smells a bit rank and then I'd get it checked, but otherwise all good.

I'm just over 13 weeks and I've got so much CM. It's pretty annoying and gross.

Btw, I think the reason it happens is that CM is there to plug the cervix and keep the vagina clean. Obviously at fertile times of the month, it changes to allow sperm in, but during pregnancy it's job is to clean and protect.

Normal. Toward the end I was doing hourly knicker changes. Oh the joys!

It's normal, if it changes colour and/or starts to smell though get checked out. I lose bits of plug along with the "normal" CM because of my irritable uterus (which looks like yellowy/greenish snot, never smells though) but that's just normal for me now.

Thanks so much ladies. Will still run it by my OB but so nice to know its just one of those things and not something to keep me awake at night. Anyone would think I'd never been pregnant before - I've forgotten just about everything. I hope my memory comes back when this little girl is born!

If it gets too much for you, you can just wear a panty liner. I do sometimes.
I know how you feel, tho! DD is only 1yo and I can't remember anything about being pregnant!!

I've just hit the third tri with #2 and with this one and #1 I've had to wear a panty liner everyday. It's strange cos I can feel when I big amount of discharge has come out and its normally at the same time everyday! Midwife said it's normal part of pregnancy for some women. I envy those who don't have to wear anything, lol.

Now that I think about it, I'm having a lot less d/c with this PG than with #1. Maybe it will increase towards the end but for now it's about what I get on a normal cycle day.

I remember it being really annoying though..
