uncomfortable feeling of pressure

Hi, in the last couple of days i have had a really uncomfortable feeling of lots of pressure in my vaginal area. its mainly on the left hand side and almost aches. (its hard to explain) i have heard a little about variocose veins in this area could this be a sign of one on its way? DH says area looks fine. i dont remember feeling like this with my first

2nd trimester means increase in circulating blood volume, which can mean the beginnngs of those uncomfortable sensations in your vagina...simply as gravity means that blood can pool in this area (and ankles too). So yes...it could be the beginnings of varicose veins.
