    A little worried

I had a horrible flu which has left me with a nasty cough, i went to see my dr as i have these coughing attacks where i struggle to breathe between coughs, i end up really hot and sweaty, and get shaky and dizzy and sometimes vomit, and now the muscles in my neck and stomach and chest are so so sore. I was prescribed ventolin to help it. What im wondering is if the coughing is causing so much pain and tearing of the muscles Is bub okay in there? Would he be at all distressed during the attacks? and i have a low lying placenta so will it bother it?

Im probably just worrying about nothing but thanks all the same

Aww no that you're sick! No good.

I'm sure bubs will be fine. Keep an eye out for movement and whatnot (a mars bar or caffeine is good if you're concerned about movement, you didn't hear that from me though :P).

My second bub got all sorts of knocks from his older brother when I was pregnant, twins (or more) probably kick each other all the time, and anyone who co-sleeps will cop a toddler foot in the belly occasionally...bub might kick back if you've woken them or something, but I'm sure your bub's fine.

You can always call your dr/midwife if you need some reassurance. I remember being really sick when pregnant, it sucks - definitely go back if you don't feel like you're getting better quickly enough, your body is dealing with a lot. I was sick in my last pregnancy and had to get penicillin shots, but it was so much better than going into labour still sick!! Hope you recover soon!

Bubs is probably all cushioned from it all with the amniotic fluid and surrounds - he probably thinks he is getting a massage! Remember they get all of the nutrients to your detriment so I'm sure he is fine. However, if the coughing is hurting YOU, I would defintely go and see the doctor again.
