I had a preggy massage today and I was really light headed and didn't feel well afterwards. The massage therapist said it was probably becuase my blood pressure had dropped from the massage,
is this common???

When you get massaged it circulates all the toxins in the body and can make you feel quite sick, you need to drink heaps of water to flush it out. If you had the beginnings of a cold when you had the massage it can make it come on quite rapidly.
It could be your blood pressure on top of the other. If you were laying on your back for a fairly long time that could have made you feel a bit funny.
I was actually laying on my tummy for most of it!!!lol I am so small it is still comfy!!!
The baby may have pushed on your organs or bowels.
Are you feeling better?? I used to get really bad headaches after massage.
I'm still a bit "funny", just not myself, I think a good sleep will help
Its common to get dizzy and light headed after a massage, like it was mentioned, the toxins need to be flushed out with lots of water.
It can also be because you can be a little dehydrated after a massage, also because you are so relaxed.
Take it easy, plenty of fluids and hopefully you'll be feeling better soon!
Was the therapist qualified for pregnany massage? There are certain pressure points you should avoid when pregnant so hopefully its not a result of something like that
