    Question Movement?????

Ok, I have been reading that because this is bubba no 4, I should be feeling movement quite regularly and getting more frequent. I feel the 'bubbly' sensation, but not much more. Anyone else not feeling lots??

    Re: Movement?????

I am only just starting to feel movement this time, but the placenta is on my front wall so I think that is why. I felt much more with dd2

With my 4th I didn't feel lots of movements until 19 - 20 weeks. I know some books say you might feel it earlier..but not me Try not to stress

I think they say that as you may be able to feel the baby earlier or identify that they are movements more as you have felt it before. But there are so many other factors that come into play, like placenta position, bubs position,, size etc that all make a difference to what you cna and can't feel.

I am sure you will be talking about some big whopping kicks before you knw it and miss the gentle littel flutters xxoo

Well, I know from my first US that I have a fundal placenta, so right at the top, so that shouldnt really affect the movment side of things. But I am wondering, if you have a...um...little layer of 'soft bits' on your tummy.....would that add cushioning and mean you might not feel as much till they get bigger??

A bit of extra cushioning can make a difference but every extra layer is a sign that your are a mother and your should be proud xxoo

Yes, I was thinking it might LOL Its just the normal 'jelly belly' stuff from being a mumma, but as this is my 4th pregnancy, I figure there is more padding than the previous bubbas
