Toxoplasmosis - from gardening ADVICE PLEASE!

Something has just started to play on my mind and I need some advise.

A few weeks ago I was out gardening. I didn't have any shoes on nor did I have gloves on. I was mainly hedging, but then we spread cane trash all over the garden.

Is this fine as far as toxoplasmosis goes? I think I must had read something and ever since it has been playing on my mind.

Alan if you are here, I would appreciate your advise or anyone for that matter.

I think its fine providing you washed your hands and feet thoroughly afterwards, or didn't eat or do anything that could transfer any fecal matter to your mouth. Having said that I wouldn't do it with bare feet or bare hands in the future JIC

Your Dr can do a test to check if you have been exposed and prescibe any medication if nessescary.

I think it's mainly if you are digging around in the dirt as far as I am aware.

I'm sure you will be fine. Do you have cats??
