Ive never heard of a size limit that sounds a bit discriminatory to me! Is it because of equipment restrictions? I thought hospitals were for everyone!
I know that was probably heartbreaking to hear sweetie but don't lose hope. If you want to lose a little weight FOR YOU not for some dr then just be careful they say you shouldn't diet during pregnancy and may end up causing more damage than good! I go to aqua aerobics to stay fit and don't go at it very hard its mostly to get me out of the house but I see a lot of curvey women go and most have lost the weight easily and it supports all the joints that get losened up with pregnancy and is low impact :). That's my suggestion IF YOU want to lose some weight, if not then I hope you can sort things out with the hospitals I really didn't think they could omit patients based on weight :(
*Lots of comfort hugs* I hope you feel like a beautiful woman who is beautifully pregnant and try not to let this get you down

Ive rung a couple of hospitals up here in QLD now and none of them have heard of a weight cut off for c-sections. I think it was a very good decision to go with another doctor because this other doctor u had sounds like a character.

Hi Girls, thankyou for your replies, everyone has helped me so much, Thanks little sprocket for your reply, I wasn't light when I had my other three girls, but I was only 105 at my highest weight on delivery. I didn't have any major complications either and I'm hoping this time I won't either.
I've booked into the hospital that is half an hour from us and I feel much better about the decision. Now I just have to see the new Doctor tomorrow, I post how I go with him. He sounds like a really nice Doctor from what different people are telling me.
The last Doctor didn't say anything about equipment restrictions, he just said I don't like to do ceasers on women over 120kg's. I was to stressed to ask him for a decent explanation.
Tomorrow I'll have to get organised for the diabities test, so I hope that all goes smoothly too. I had gestational with my first but not my second two, so hopefully that will be ok.
I'll be in touch, thanks again for youe support :)

UPDATE:
Well, I went to the new Doctor today and he was very very good, I told him I was getting close to reaching the weight limit with the other doctor and he said don't worry about him, and he doesn't have any problems with my weight, that said I stood on the scales and I was the same as 5 weeks ago, so I was happy, the baby was bigger though, because the fundal hight was more, So it's a go for this new hospital and new Doctor and I can worry a little bit less about weight things, I'll just keep eating how I'm eating now and cruise along with that, looks like the healthy eating is paying off as well.
Thankyou for all your support, you've help heaps, big tummy rubs all :)

Brilliant Rose!
Great news, what a load off knowing the new Doc is supportive and not going to pull the rug out from under your feet like the last one.
Best of luck for the next 14 weeks, wow, not too long really :)

Hey
Very Glad 2 hear that rose! I have gone over my personal target weight 4 this preg already but I have been running round after a toddler so I know all the weight I'm putting on is the bub. It took ages to put on 4 kg then I put on 2 kg in 3 days! my mantra is DO NOT DIET @ the moment but I hate seeing the numbers go up on scales. Really hope I don't have GD coz then I can't have birth centre but :crossfingers: 4 me coz it runs in my fam and I had 2 have a second test last time.

Thanks Girls, it's definalty less worry. I just have to hang out for the results of the GD test and the echo, I tend to worry more then I usually do.
Today I feel heeps bigger, my tummy has grown an inch over night, my pants are getting tight again! I'm also feeling very tired, I don't have as much stamana as I used to, I haven't really slowed down until now, but I think I'm going to have to start pacing myself a little bit better.
Picking names is a nightmare, there's always someone that doesn't like what I pick...
Anyway, take care all :)
