Period like cramping at 19 weeks

[B]Hi all,

today I've had period like cramping for the past 4 hrs or so. went and had a hot shower and took some panadol and resting up before i start on dinner. I don't recall cramping like this when i had Adam - although that was nearly 4 years ago and the memory isn't so good. Has anyone else experienced this and should i be worried as i've had no bleeding just mild cramps. hope someone can put my mind at ease.

I hope your ok

I think that it is ok to have cramps and mild pain- its your uterus growing and stretching. With both my pregnancies I had periods (days) of mild period like pain.

If you are concerned ofcourse go and see a doctor- sometimes the reassurance is enough. If the pain is severe then definatley go and see the doc

Hi delphmoon,

I ended up going to the doctors last night and turns out I have a really bad Bladder Infection AGAIN, and on antibiotics. Came home took the antibiotics and took 2 panamax and went to bed with hot waterbottle, eventually the cramping stopped at around 3.30 this morning. Bub was ok which put my mind at ease so just need to rest up over the next few days and look forward to my ultrasound on monday to see if we our growing bean is a or a .
