I've had terrible ligament pain in my right groin for two weeks now - I wouldn't call it pressure though - definitely PAIN! I know it's the ligament stretching that runs from my leg to my uterus as Bob is growing quite a bit now.

    Don't know if that helps?

Yup, I'd say stretching ligaments. Everything is moving and becoming a little 'looser' as your baby starts to grow. Try and rest as much as possible and I hope you feel better soon.

If you are worried, can you call the antenatal clinic and ask to speak to a midwife or your ob? Better to put your mind at rest.

I remember at the end of my pgs actually gasping from stabbing pains in the groin, but not sure if I had it as early as you are now with my first pregnancy.

I am 15wks, and getting a pain sorta below bellybutton (i assume this is groin area??) anyways, asked obs, he said just ligaments stretching. But, twice, i have had sharp pains, at night, and have layed still, and focuses on breathing, and they go away after a few min. i thought they maybe BH, but, i think i am to early for that.

It sounds like everything is starting to stretch and loosen. All quite normal and nothing to worry about.
