Questions about caplaba xray in qld

I hope this doesnt sound really stupid but i dont know what else to do but ask for advice and im afraid it will be long to explain..... Im not one to usually worry but when i had my first scan i was only 5 weeks and was too early to see anything and me and my sister werent impressed by the man doing the ultrasound,anyway i was dreading getting him for my 8 week one but i didnt i had a lovely lady,so i wasnt worried until i caught up with a friend whose just had a baby and she was asking me when my 18 week scan was coming up and asked where i will go for it,when i told her where she said i hope you dont get this guy and when she discribed him its the same one!I dont have a problem with them being rude or anything,im a big girl but she told me he wouldnt even tell her the sex she asked and he said no.So i rung to book mine for next week and i asked for the lady i had last time but she was just in on relief for someone so i just booked it as i felt too rude to say i didnt want the man again as i dont even have his name,sorry its been such a long one but basically i wandered if anyone else has been there and had a good experience,as im unsure if i should try to go to another one or if my friends just over reacting or if he honestly just meant he couldnt see what sex the baby was,i realise the most important thing is the babys health but still,if im paying $190 i would like the sonographer to at least try.Thanks heaps for any replies!!!

HI there. I haven't been there.. but just had my NT scan done at the QLD Xray place at the Mater Private Hossy in Cleveland. Lady was delightful. Really really lovely. Took time to explain everything, and also put up with my 4yo asking questions and my 1yo talking loudly. I've also had scans done at QLD Xray at cleveland. They were ok.. but very busy and seemed rushed. I plan to go back to the Mater for my morphology scan.

Thought I'd put my 2 cents in as it is only 10 mins from capalaba.

I had my 18 week scan at capalaba (Parkveiw Xray) they were lovely, I had a lady and they told me the sex and gave me a photo and I ordered another it is also bulkbilled there so I didnt pay anything, there is also one in Carindale that bulkbills and they are lovely aswell.

The one at Cleveland attached to Clevelan medical centre doesn't bulkbill anymore but if you want to make the drive to Beenleigh, Beenleigh medical centre does bulkbill and they are really nice!
