Round Ligament Pain...

Hi all,

I'm just curious about your experiences with round ligament pain...

I have had sharp stabbing pains (all over my stomach and my lower pelvic area) all day long so far and it doesn't seem to make any difference if i sit still and rest, or move around, they're still there!

I read that round ligament pains usually only last a few seconds whilst your active/moving around and they should stop when you stop, but mine keep going! Is that normal? Up until now, i've only had the general types of pains, like when you get up out of bed and use your abs to get yourself up, and when you cough or sneeze.

So i guess i'm just wondering if anyone else has/had this too, and is it normal?!! Or could it be that i am just getting cramps, or are they similar to round ligament pain anyway?!! I'm confused!

Sweety I had similar pains at various stages and after a good nights sleep id find theyd go away, but if you are concerned and they continue then give your caregiver a call to make sure all is okay but im sure its just perfect!

Is that what they are??? Thank you for explaining this to me. I'm only in my 12th week and they started this week. I was going to ring my ob about them tomorrow. BB to the rescue once again!
