Sharp pains in front of belly when I move

Hi All,

I am nearly 19wks and I have been having really sharp pains in the front of my belly especially when I move. For instance it happens when I bend over or get up from sitting position. This is bub number 3 so I did not think I'd feel "growing" pains as such. I also have few pains in the bladder region at time times.

Anuone else have this happen?

Yes. I had that last night (although I'm not as advanced as you). It felt like someone had stabbed me in the belly. I put it down to moving too fast. I just stopped moving and it went away.

I get this with all my pgs. My doctors have told me it can be put down to either stretching pains (as my belly grows), or due to my not so great abdominal muscles being wrenched as I move (I had severe abdominal seperation during both my first too pg). This time I have had slight twinges, but have been extra careful about how I move as don't want abdominal seperation again if I can possibly avoid it.
