sticky mucus????

Hi, i am almost 23w preg, and for the last 2days have noticed sticky mucus, it is clear & only a minimal amnt,, should i be concerned, could this be my mucus plug?

I wouldnt think so.In pregnancy your body produces alot more mucous and discharge and many women have to wear pantyliners.If it was your plug i think that it is tinged with blood?

Maggie - since being pg I have had a lot of extra mucousy sticky clear stuff. I think it is pretty normal. You may want to check with your doc though.

God you should see the amounts I put out! Everyday there is clumps of it!!

There was a lot of info on clear mucus in preg, but nothing for sticky, so that is why i was concerned. rang my obs, and his secretary, advised all normal
