I'm pretty sure it's ok, but thought i'd just check.... it IS ok to swim in the sea when pg isn't it!??!
We are going away on holidays in august to europe and it's going to be HOT and swimming is essential! usually we go twice a day, morning and late afternoon! That's ok isn't it??

i am sure it is fine. i have been swimming most days in preg... (in a pool). make sure you dont get caught in any strong currents etc though.. and wear a good sunscreen etc as your skin is a lot more sensitive! enjoy!
Yes you should go for a swim sweetie. I think the buoyancy will make you feel alive!! I would - especially if your going to europe. You will be having a ball and i cant imagine dh swimming and you watching!! Not fair - hahahaha!
Hope the fam dont make you paranoid. They told me the same thing - so i kept going to my aqua aerobics class anyway!! No-one said anything. Funny eh?
