    Swollen feet??

just got home yesterday arvo after a busy weekend away which involved alot of driving a walking and since then my feet have been really swollen...usualy if they swell from sitting in the car too long they go down after a few hours but today they are still really fat
My last check up 2 weeks ago my blood pressure was normal...should i get it checked out or just wait and see??
    TIA

I had heaps of swelling when I was pregnant and after awhile it did just stop going down. But, that said I am a big believer in listening to you intuition, if it is worrying you, even just a little bit, then it is well worth getting it checked out, even if it is just to put your mind at ease... Hi Lucylu
If it is only your feet that are swollen then I would wait and see what happens. A few tips that may help to reduce the swelling are.
    Do not cross your legs/ankles
Try not to sit for more than 1 hour without going for a 5 minute walk
Do exercises with your feet when sitting.
Try to spend some time laying down with your feet higher than your heart.
If your feet do not start to go down in the next 24 hours or you get any more swelling then it would be a good idea to get your blood pressure checked
