get yourself on a regular probiotic (can get them from the chemist or look at the stuff on here - think it's en-liven fast track) - the pg is obviously causing you some issues with hormonal balance

i would also be VERY careful using the one day pessaries - they're not recommended during pregnancy - the six day canasten course is the only one recommended when ttc or pg

...really, gosh i used them once in pg #3 and twice in this pregnancy....two different pharmacists too.....i obviously look very pregnant when buying them too...infact the pharmacist from a few weeks ago was pregnant herself and said it was ok, as long as i dont go too far.....

So do you think 3 bouts of thrush is a lot ??? Im worried now....

3 occurences in six months even when not pg is something a gp should be investigating

Mbear, best advice I can give is to get rigorous about a low-GI diet...good in PG anyway. I find when I get thrush it's always a sign that the white bread has gotten away from me. It's worth reading a little more about GI because it doesn't always make sense, ie wholemeal bread can be as high as white bread, you've got to go chunky grains all the way. Hope that helps, it must be driving you crazy.

Hun i swear i had it every day of my pregnancy with Zachery...i just couldnt get rid of it....(and i never had it at all with the girls....just the boy )

As for the 1 day treatment...i used that too...cleared it up good and proper....for about a week..then it returned. In the end i lived on the Canesten cream...i kept them in business with buying lots of boxes!

I tried stopping suger, white bread, eating new foods...you name it..nothing worked or got rid of it...EXCEPT..giving birth!
