Question Holidays, when is it the best time to go????

    Hi Everyone,
I have to organize a holiday in the second trimester, I just wanted to know When does it start to get too late to go?I just dont want to be too heavy and tired the whole time. Plus the longer I leave it the better the weather will be.

Thanks for any input. I really have no idea with this.

i think you can fly til about 34-36 weeks... but it would be pretty uncomf for you then... it really depends on where you want to go as well.
I went to Qld at about 29 weeks and that was great, I handled the flight fine and was still able to be relatively active and enjoy the holiday a bit more than if I had gone a few weeks later...
As you get bigger the hotter weather is less comf as well and in preg you are more sensitive to the sun. I am usually a major sun fan but I find now around 25 degs is lovely and you can still go to beach or lie by a pool...
enjoy!!! i loved our holiday and found it so good to relax with DH. I didnt want to leave!

i went to qld and melbourne at 24 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed myself! i might even go back before its too late to fly hehe i did find it a little uncomfortable on the plane - only becuase i dont like sitting down for ages at a time - bubba gets a bit squashed but apart from that there weren't any problems. Just make sure you get up on the plane regularly to avoid swelling! Enjoy your holiday!

I think we will just stay in Australia. I love to go to the beach, but are worried that it will be too cold. As long as its in the 20s temp it should be ok.

About 32 weeks or so I started to slow down alot, but it's individual for everyone.

I took a holiday at around that point with my DD and I didn't do much except float around the pool like a big beached whale LOL.
When I was pregnant with DS we went on holidays when I was 10 weeks - I threw up the whole time.
So I definitely think second tri is the way to go after my experiences

Hi all, We have decided to go on holidays at the end of oct. I hope that the weather is great at that time. It will be in vic somewhere, but not sure where to go yet. I think I will be around 25 weeks pregnant.
