    Urine sample

    At my next OB appointment (24wks) I have to take a urine sample. Can the OB check what needs to be checked at the time or does he send it to pathology?

    Hi - my ob checks it for sugar and proteins and they do it there so need to send off to lab. HTH.

    Yeh all of my urine sample have been sent away for testing.

    I have to take a sample each time I go and the receptionist tests for sugar and proteins - no need to send to pathology unless there's something specific he's testing for
