Heartburn is the worst. Cant help much hun, I drank water and it gave me heart burn the only thing that stopped mine was taking the 12 hour Zantac daily.
I had constant heartburn from 13 weeks. I wasn't quite as bad as boomba - i could drink water but drinking and eating close to each other was what set me off. ie. if i separated eating from drinking for a few hours it helped a little. but in the end I just had to accept it
I get heartburn with my pregnancies (just waiting for it to happen again). Just like you, almost anything can trigger it. And nothing really seemed to stop it very well.
In the past, my TCM practitioner has given me a chinese herb mix for it - and while it tasted nasty as hell (I needed a chaser ...) it fixed the heartburn. The only thing that worked for me. I'll go back for more when I need to with this bub.
Good luck with it - it's not a nice thing to have.
I get heartburn with pregnancy too, and fairly early on. I eventually have to rely on zantac too. I hope you can find something to help. It really is horrible.
I have been depending on gaviscon lately - it seems to work much better than mylanta and rennie's. They both worked a treat with my previous pregnancy.
I was just hoping someone would tell me some secret food that would solve all my problems - like strawberry ice cream lol (I've already tried that though and it doesn't work lol)
Fruit tingles worked for me with DD when I was having mild heartburn days. This time around, not much is helping. I'm relying on milk, gavison and tums. Feel your pain hun
