    Busy Baby

I am 23 weeks preg and am amazed how this baby is soooo active. Kicking all the time and regularly doing complete body shifts that just leave me feeling ill.

My first daughter barely moved in fact worried me constantly if she was even alive, rarely kicking and only ever once moved a body shift towards the end.

Is this something out of the ordinary?

I swear she is tap dancing, Maybe she's the re-incarnate of Fred Estair?

Is/Did your little one kick and turn over all the time?

    Hi Kim

I remember that feeling, I almost forgot I was pregnant a few times cos she just didnt move. Goes to show each baby very different.

Will be interested in seeing though, my daughter who barely moved didn’t sleep well until she was 2 1/2 y/o. The midwife I was seeing at that time told me in her experience babies that don’t move don’t sleep. She was right on the money too. Good luck and if you need a million tips on what to do LMK. I have tried EVERYTHING..

My bubs has just started being super active! Kicking and doing flips every 30 mins or so i feel some sort of movement! The other night it actually gave me a fright because it was a really strong big kick just as i was drifting off to sleep!

I thought I would share my story of the day..

lastnight someone rang at midnightish and it work me and it apparently woke baby as she gave me the biggest kick.

I think it's weird yet amazing that the phone woke her. I will however move the phone away from the bed as it nearly gave me a heart attack.

This bub is FLAT OUT. Very busy indeed! It's actually really comforting to know he's a-ok in there. If my next bub is quiet, that might freak me out!

Yes Kaylene - i am there with you... it's crazy how active she is, and yes i do feel sick sometimes from her turning or whatever it is she does in there. Especially when I feel her rolling across my tummy (you can even watch it) and when she judds out to make my tummy look distorted.. O the fun! I was just saying to some girls the other night, i honestly don't know when this baby sleeps, she's bullying my insides all day and won't let me sleep at night! I must say, in the beginning i was really unsure about all the movement as i felt it was really creepy - but now i find it quite reassuring
