    I'm worried :(

So yesterday I was lying in bed and had this distinct "bulge" where I'm presuming my uterus and baby was sitting (angled from middle of pubic bone to my right side). It was also firm to place my hand over.

I've had a bit of pain today (hurts when coughing sneezing etc) but that's been persistent throughout this pregnancy.

I'm lying in bed again now and I'm bloated but have no firmness anywhere. No distinct bulge no nothing around the top of my pubic bone. I don't think I've felt bub move yet (well nothing distinctive) so am getting increasingly worried that something is wrong.

I'm a lot more paranoid with this pregnancy which is to be expected after I had a suspected perforated uterus from m/c last year (and it's where I've had all my pain) I had midwife appt on 7th feb and heard a heartbeat (finally) and am due for next scan on 5th march and midwife on 8th march.

Am I just over analyzing and baby had scooted towards my back or should I really be concerned.

    I'm 17 weeks tomorrow.

I think if you are worried, it's probably not a bad idea to go get it checked out.

It's probably perfectly normal - but better to play it safe I'd reckon

I agree. If you're worried get yourself checked out. No point stressing yourself out about it.

What you're describing sounds normal though. I'd often wonder (still do) where the baby was hiding in there because everything felt soft and occasionally I'd get the weird hard lump thing. Now that I can feel movement I know what's baby and what's not (well I think I do).

This pregnancy journey is tough sometimes with all the worrying and weird things that go on. Don't let yourself get stressed about it, go see your doc/midwife. HTH.

Any chance you have a small hernia?

Thanks for your words of support ladies. Ended up in hospital, on a drip for dehydration. They ruled out appendicitis as the pain was excruciating and also was vomiting.

Obgyn registrar said all normal but wants me to go for an early morphology scan. Been put on strict bed rest and panadeine forte for the pain, so now at my sisters being looked after
