When did your morning sickness stop?

    Hi Girls

I'm just past 11 weeks and finally I'm feeling normal again - woohoo!! I've been able to eat reasonably normal meals and function like a human being again. I'm just conerned that it happened so suddenly though. I felt awful yesterday morning, to the point where I was going to phone in sick, but I decided to push on and see how I went at work. By the time I arrived at work I was feeling remarkably good and managed to snack well all day. I even did my 'pre-pregnancy walk' last night (7kms) and enjoyed it!

Did anyone else experience such a sudden change in their symptoms and energy levels around this time? I'm so glad to be feeling somewhat normal again but I'm still a bit nervous that the 'switch' was so easily flicked off/on!

    Share your stories please!!

i didn't have m/s badly (i.e. no throwing up or anything, just general nausea) but it did just disappear almost overnight. i can't remember exactly when it was - sometime around 12 weeks. i did notice that i would still get an occasional day when i felt sick but it went away for a week or two before i even got one of those.

my energy levels are still a bit up & down but definitely better than they were!

yep mine went away at about 15 or 16 weeks, cant remember (blocking out the trauma haha) but it literally did go over night....one day i felt like dying and was spewing up everything...the next morning i felt fine! too fine i thought something was wrong and rung the midwife and my mum! LOL
had a few moments for about a week after that where i got abit queasy, and bin smells etc still make me feel alot sicker than before i was pg, but seriously if it disappears overnight like mine did dont stress, be greatful!

With DD I was so sick one night that I had my head over the toilet bowl, then the next day I felt great and the MS never came back so it is possible

This time it has been very different, not as sick and it disappeared gradually and finally stopped (I hope!) about a week and a half ago.

If you are worried please go get things checked, even if it is only to ease your mind.

Thanks so much for all your replies! I'm still getting little waves of nausea but they are nothing compared to what I had. At least they seem managable now and frequent snacks actually seem to be helping.

I'm not too stressed (unsual for me!), just surprised at how quickly things can change. The little nausea waves I'm still getting are a nice reassurance though

Next scan is 13 March (yes, Friday 13th!!!) so not long until we see bubs again. Thanks for all your well wishes, stories and advice!
